Amigo, I wish to personally thank you for sharing Fugio with us all. I recognize that innumerable hours were spent on designing and coding, and thank you for open sourcing this software. You win my respect and esteem for your humanitarianism. Your personal sacrifice serves to enrich and evolve our species.
    Thank you!
    F.

Thank you for the very kind comment. If sharing Fugio helps people bring things from their imagination into the world to share then I'm honoured to have been part of that process. I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with!

Perhaps you could see sell visual art (scenes?) made from the tool that others can buy to then open within the system? Amend, change, learn, and be inspired?

It's a good idea. There are markets for such things, though it's not always easy to connect with them.

Alex I love your presentation here, it's so honest...I haven't programmed as long as you (I started in the late 80's with Basic, Cobol...and stopped in 2005), but I remember wanting to be in film school instead of computer school waiting for debugging reports queued to print out on green and white bar paper 10-20 minutes after compiling ;-) So I appreciate your efforts to continue developing for yourself and for us fellow multimedia artists. Thanks and good luck.

Thank you Julie. I'm hoping to facilitate more of the experimentation while limiting the frustration! (Or was that part of the experience - the hard won results? Not sure... :-)

Thanks. This software looks interesting. I want to render basic shapes moving and reacting to audio in signal.

Beautiful introduction, realy very moving. Thanks for sharing your eforts, codes and most important, your own naked soul. Thanks, thanks a lot. I'm gonna ckeckit out (remaining videos) to see what i can achieve in future. Abrazos (hugs). I'm just starting to explore new ways of making art and this declaration is a very inspiring one. PD: Althought i have a relative decent hearing understanding of english language, some words escape from me time to time (i'm kind of self-taught listener), so i could try to translate the future videos if time lets you to put transcription on the future). No more to say, i'm go to enjoy the playlist my querido amigo; lets to learn.

Yo también hablo español. Qué tal te ha ido con este software? Yo usé pure data hace muchos años, estoy intentando recordar todo. Saludos desde Madrid.

Posted your work up on VJ union you should get some decent coverage there, I will give it another push on my blog when you have examples patches ready, just a few visuals can make all difference. I have 220 followers on Tmblr but some of my followers have thousands of followers themselves. IMHO tmblr and vimeo are good place for this to unveil, I will do some projects in it myself when I see how visual part works, It could be big if allot of artist get involved, hope that helps, what you have done is awesome.
