    You are adorable!!!!!!!!! It was so fun to watch you going through your new items. Your joy is totally contagious. I loved seeing you appreciate sentimental, old pieces that most young people would probably consider trash. Enjoy digging through those boxes. I will be thinking about you as you do it feeling deeply touched at the value you see in what those who came before you have left behind. ❤️

    Love the flea market video that Taco uploaded ... there was lots of scenes of you two together!!! You guys make a great selling team!! Hope that we will see more of you two together again!!! Taco did state in his video that he didn't sell as much as he hoped, but the things that he sold went for more than they would have at his flea market!!! I really LOVE the look on your face when you are going through the vintage papers. That's the very way that I am!!! I can spend all day looking at anything that old and is paper! CONGRATS on 2.1K subscribers!!! You are gaining more subscribers really fast!!! Just like myself, I came to look only because Taco recommended your new channel, but fell in Love with you, stayed and can't wait for the next one. You remind me of myself from years back !!!

    I am not sure how I missed this one??? But I did! At 1st the box lot of paper did not look as good as some that you have bought, but the more that you went through it the better it looked! The letters in Polish can be put together and sold on eBay or Etsy. Do lots of the other "like" things: postmarks etc. But you need to carefully go through the boxes, piece by piece. Renee, you bring such joy to all that watch you! You do what I do ... say I will look at one more piece, and then pick up another and another !!!

(1947 & 1956)...etc but my sons didn't care about them and we can't take them with us in the end... so recycling barrel got them all.... :( Photos.... My son asked why we took so many pics of same thing.... I explained we were never sure if they would come out till they were developed...LOL Love your videos.. learned a lot so far.... :)

    I love your smile when you find a "treasure." You are really bring back some good memories! When I was cleaning out my Mom's place I noticed that she had written names on the bottom of some furniture. There was a tiny foot stool that I was going to take home however it had my sister in laws name on it gg. Then I found 2 boxes of various cards and was just going to donate them. One box fell open and in each card there was money ! I made $250 that day!! :)

    I collect paper, mostly vintage literature on old radios, phonographs. One of my treasures are 8x10 photos of the building of the three White Star Ocean Liners...Titanic, Olympic, and Britannic. These came from the builder, Harland and Wolf Shipyard. As to your vintage card, I have all mine I got from family and friends...in the 1940's and 50's, including ones from my grammar schools days...especially Valentines and B-day cards. I'm 76 years old and these cards go back 65 years! They don't print cards like those anymore.

    They are hard to find, and $$$, if you can find them. Keep up the videos of finding the "old time stuff", and we will keep watching. 😉 Came here from Taco's channel. Thanks!☺

    Hey Renee - Love the video! The cards at 14:30 are the Game of Authors. Might be like Old Maids, just different pictures. One thing to think about: before you sell the really pretty graphics with lots of good colors, you might want to do some high quality copies of them. Condense them and get onto 1 or 2 sheets. People who make cards, do collage or mixed media and other kinds of paper arts would buy good copies. In fact, we don't usually like to use originals in our work. Check on eBay and Etsy to see what people are selling.

    • @PaperandMoose
      @PaperandMoose  5 лет назад

    A few months late, but... Regarding the film scanner... Because a lot of negatives from that era will be larger than 35mm, your best bet is to find a flat bed scanner that can scan various size negatives. ...such as medium format; 6x4.5, 6x6, 6x7, 6x9, ...and large format negatives. As well as the "standard" 35mm negatives and slides. Scanning film is quite the rabbit hole, but having the ability or option to is a valuable one. ...and printing is not needed as you could just add the scanned image to your video. I use an older Canon 8800F scanner, and Epson makes some nice flatbed film scanners. Thanks for the great content!

    You could take one box at a time and pick out some of the best stuff and make a 10 minute or longer video to put on RUclips. The cards that are glued together, you might be able to use a hair dryer or iron on them to see if the glue will loosen up. I like the cabinet with all the drawers in it and black dog on the floor.

      Absolutely they need to meet BB Dave. He is very informed and teaches his skills to us as well. He also knows several other vendors that sell there.

      I’ve already made 3-4K thanks to Dave! Found a cig holder collection at an estate sale and they were all gold but priced at 10-25$ each xD

    I’m a junk journal creator also. DON’T THROW THOSE OLD PAPERS AWAY! Even the old RSVP’s from 1959 would be cool in a junk journal. You sell on Etsy and eBay- you should post the link so we can just pop over to your shops and buy.
