Does anyone else love the sound of the charms dangling against each other? These are precious. I also like making hat pins the same way. I use them on hats, clothing and gift cards and tags.

Hi guys this is a first for me so bare with me please. Cara I started last week to try my hand at these safety pin craft. OK my question is I ordered safety pins and having NOT done any research my first ones were norml pina with CENTER LOOP ie the ones that already come with the loops 3-5 to add charms too. Can you give me any idea how I can add charms to the regular pins that keep you from putting them on from any end? I have just used the jump rings but do not like the look. Help? Claudia
I'm not positive that I understand your question. I've used jump rings, little pieces of chain, fashioned charms out of head pins and attached them to the pin...does that help? Let me know if you need more help or if I didn't really answer your question.
Melissa Noble Hello there! On the homes without the loops, you just need to make sure you’re careful when putting them on something. Once the pin is closed there isn’t an issue...I never had any problems.
Crafters beware when buying the looped pins. I got several made, then they were so dull I could not get them through the fabric. I even tried knit and a scarf...did not work. Also a tip...After putting all charms and beads on, add a small crimp at the end so they won't slide.

Once I feed the beads on too the head pin..I just can't figure out how to bend the top!
