When I first saw the East Enders theme as a little boy in the mid- 80s, I thought the black and white aerial photo of London was bits of old newspaper stuck together lol😂
I love watching eastenders when kat is on it and others people in it it been my favourtie soap so far I like keaua too he a good actor us well I like Dennis Sharon son and Dennis who Saron was with too ok jenny 5:36
3:30 - just when you think it can't get any worse they tone it up a notch 😂nah you gotta love it though haha... one of those 'so bad it's good' kinda things!
8:05 Which episode was the last to feature these right side credits? I think it was somewhere around June/July 2007 they permanently switched back to the scrolling credits before later introducing the 2009 map.
I mean in spite of that you could still consider what Allen Jeapes did with the first and second sets artworks in themselves, even tho they werent actually painted. Imagine the skill involved in taking many many images of London from a hot air balloon, stitching them together and somehow making it work as a title graphic. That was the case for the 1985 and 1993 sets. the 1999 version was technically the same but the map and titles benefitted from being put together on a computer. The 2009 set was apparently adapted from a screenshot of Google Maps. The sole reason why the river was blue (I cant remember if that was painted or it was a blue sheet of cardstock) in the first set was because the river made that fact of it being stitched together smaller images more visible. But it benefitted the graphic in the end and made it pop more.
Because Diane Parish who played Denise was also in EastEnders for a short time in the '90s playing a character called Lola who was nothing to do with the character of the same name played by Danielle Harold. Sometimes actors play more than one part in the same show at different times and sometimes there are different characters with the same first name.

That jazzy theme is well underrated, easily my favourite one

You're not alone, my friend 😂
Me too!
I knew that love joy used to have aligned credits but now has scrolling ones
The 1985 original’s still the best! Thanks for the upload. 👍

0:23: BBC One Since 1985
The year Come and See’s war film was released. Happy 39th Anniversary Come and See
blimey, them first end credits went on a bit... two middle 8s?? Doctor Who must have been soooo jealous 😂
Not uncommon on the Sunday afternoon omnibus in those days
Definitely makes for a Doctor Who episode with the Eastenders theme instead 😂
Apparently the actors were up in arms when they done away with omnibus edition as they got paid for that as well as the episodes during the week

Clybaun Road Bedroom Night
The 1999 logo will always remain my favourite
There was 2 versions of the closing credits for 1993-1994 the long version then a short version cos bbc wanted edits to the credits
They did that with Neighbours as well
@@jackcrawford3921 they did indeed. Use to love the long neighbours closing credits. Hated the bbc for getting them to redo them to make them sorter
That rhymes with
I seen the 1999 credits after school one day

The last episode in May 2007.
3:31 this somehow says to me there is hope in Albert Square
0:28 That sounds like Ringo Starr.
Sounds nothing like him
Every morning at 8am before school! 🤣🤣
Wasn't there a slightly different tune from 1991 to 1993?
Yep. The visuals were the same but the tune was tweaked very slightly, the uploader clearly had no idea 😂

1985 38 years ago
The 2009 titles still used in 2024 about time they updated it abit
(1985) (1993) (1994) (1999) (2010)
Took me years to figure out that it is an actual aerial view of London I just thought it was a painting

5:20 Huh, another Alfie.
DeadEnders
Eastenders isn’t dead. It’s still going strong today!💪
Didn't the 1999-2009 intro also have another set of centered credits, from 2007-2009?
Yep! Which is how they've remained since
What about the 1991 theme
The1993 jazzy theme didn't go down to well with viewers thankfully it only lasted a year b4 being replaced by the theme we were used to
Should have reverted to the original theme
@@ianpage2765 Seems by 1994 they did
@@jamesdelboy they didn't! Listen to the original 1985 theme, the steel drums are very apparent.
为什么这首音乐的零件的末尾有这个同样的很奇怪的最后的吹口哨的音乐声音
你好。
Why does it say on one of them Lola was Diane parish who plays Denise

经典的。
If u could hear a voice coming
Play the EastEnders Theme Tune and Intro 2X it’s really funny
The first theme was best with steel drums representing the Caribbean community
Tell me, how do steel drums represent the carribbien community
