as an Everton fan I am 24 now and Thomas Gravesen was my favourite player at that time he was one of the few extremely talented and passionate players that wee had through a time of financial crisis and we were actually happy for him when hee left and hee turned upp for his Real Madrid interview in an Everton trackie, despite all of this there were fans who often said he ran around like a headless chicken but his ability and footwork was brilliant👍
KK was exceptional as well. I listen to other players speaking about TG and they all say exactly the same. Gordon Strachan also says the same about him !
Joe basically just lifts Si Ferry's interview with McFadden ha absolute amateur hour stuff right there it would have only taken 2 seconds to reference it and credit it
I heard that rumour about Real Madrid got Gravesen mixed up with Lee Carsley. They were both at Everton at the time and both in form at the time Gravesen went to Madrid.
Sort of; Real Madrid thought they were getting both players in one - skill and steel. Carsley wore 26 and Gravesen 16, easy to confuse and give credit where it wasn't due. All the press and Madrid players banged on about the tough-tackling Gravesen whilst Kilbane and the Everton fans thought they were mad.
He sounds like he fits well in las vegas How the hell did he get signed up by real madrid I had no interest in him as a player, i just ignored him, and the media claimed he was a defensive midfield player, but it turns out he could not tackle or defend hahaha Wth The media portrayed him as a defensive midfield player, and he was brought by real madrid as that. How the hell did people not know all this stuff all this time Hilarious they say he is one of worlds best call of duty players Funny as hell, that media portrayed him as a defensive midfield player
Clearly, as per usual, the media do not portray reality. 👍🏻 At Everton, he wasn’t restricted to a position, and was (apparently) permitted to ‘roam’ as he was such a fantastic player. And could not be tied down to a static position, like say, Lee Carsley. Who knows, perhaps Madrid saw clips of both Carsley and Gravesen, thinking they were one player, and thought: ‘what de hell have we found heeeeere in England?!?!’ 😂
