chinese actors are hard survived at Hollywood because they have Asian face with limited roles. Not just that Hollywood needs actors can sing and dance with multi tenants. Obviously she is not good enough. Hollywood is not boring as the marriage but how she can navigate her career is the key.
Maybe you were from the privileged class and got to watch all western movies during that horrible decade, but unfortunately, rest of the Chinese, even those in big cities like Shanghai didn’t get that.

I totally get what you said about horrible decade, but our parents, our older siblings, neighbors, teachers told us about the old days and the good stuff. Unless you refuse to learn anything about it.
