I think I speak for everyone here when I say we don’t want just another cruise. We want a brand spanking new full studio album and a full multi-city reunion tour. That’s what I want anyway.
Multi-city and multi-country also haha
Yes im 13 and they aren’t preforming together anymore im sad and nothing bad profile pic is a car logo dodge
I agree got to see them live in Manchester on the Jesus freak tour it was amazing. Personally I think they are better together than apart.
yes we want new music not old karaoke
❤❤❤ABSOLUTELY! I agree!!!!
I am not trying to bring the mood down but there will never be another DC Talk. Let that sink in, pretty wild to think that. They were so rare, got to see them live for this tour and I still think about it.
I got to see them in 1999 myself, The One and Only Time. And I 100% agree with you. Thankfully we still have TobyMac.
It's weird...i've been going back and listening to, not only them, but quite a few other 90's God bands. And now that I'm able to listen OBJECTIVELY (without the cloud of "I have to be a good little Southen Baptist boy and listen to my perfect little Christian music" hanging over me),
Man, I'm BLOWN AWAY at the quality. The songwriting genius (of whomever wrote the material...TobyMac and Mark Heimermann primarily)...the melodies, harmonies, chord progressions...everything. I'd put it up there with any secular artist you wanna name! Just brilliant!
I got to see them as a kid once. They were better than everyone else at the show. Amazing performance. They finished with Supernatural and Red Letters. At sunset, outside. Just perfect.
@@HighwayLand Michael Tait is in Newsboys and Kevin Max is on solo career
Me too... old time musician n I still think it's one of the best concerts I've ever seen
I missed these guys...They were my favorite christian group of the 90s.
Kevin maxxxxxxx.... Ur voice........ Awesome man....
So does Michael, but too bad he didn't let lose here
Yes Kevin Max has one of the most unique singing voices of anybody I have ever heard ever beautiful voice truly amazing I guess Toby did the writing and Michael carried the regular lead vocals. However Kevin Max you listen to Christian radio he sings backup for so many people he sang on the very first Audio Adrenaline album ever made Kevin Max he helped to write and he sang lead vocals on the Audio Adrenaline song My worldview from their very first album maybe eight years before this concert before DC Talk even did Jesus Freak Kevin Max I'm telling you man you listen to him on SoundCloud and he is doing David Bowie tunes and he is doing Christian Tunes guys amazing
@@harrisrosenberg7992 Corrections: My Worldview was on Audio Adrenaline's second album, Kevin did not sing on Audio Adrenaline's first album and Kevin has been with dc Talk since 1989.
Kevin is an amazing writer as well. I had no idea Tobey would write the songs too. I just remember Kevin wrote a ton of poetry
I sincerely hope he comes back to Jesus
That bass player is just rocking the whole time! Totally underrated!
That's the one and only Otto 'Sugah Bear' Price. He is a legend. He's also worked with Michael W. Smith and can be seen in the video for "Surrounded".
That bass player is next level. Wow!!!
Oh my goodness, I'm transported back to my room trying to wail like Kevin, with my mom and dad worrying I was gonna hurt my voice, wondering what I was gonna do after high school. Lol!
Christian music, to me, is just nothing compared to this these days. So unique. So free. So fun!!
You know, I've seen countless people express this about CCM today, but there is something very effective about your comment - it shows how captivating the creative talent and energy was then, as compared to now where so-called 'Radio A&R' and producer people are almost running the industry and interfering with the sound of artists music. Its not that its bad - almost every genre of any of popular music in the past was often crirticized for sounding 'the same', but now it's gotten to the point where it sounds like these artists are just making different versions of the same song. Same lyric subjects, same melodic styles, same harmonies.. its almost like they are using some sort of handbook! Kevin Max himself thinks its because the artists just need to put out a song for the radio as their 'hit' to sell the song or record and be noticed by the audiences, but that's no reason to make everything sound the same, right? The labels don't know everything about what people want to hear.
TobyMac's singing voice has gotten better with age.
Toby was always underrated, he did a lot more singing than people generally think. Like sure he was there mostly for the rapping but he sings along with Michael on a whole lot of their more memorable choruses.
STILL the best concert I’ve EVER attended!!! Long live dc Talk!!!
Wow, how blessed you are to actually REMEMBER being at this show! Did you see any more shows?
Derek Young I saw a the Jesus Freak tour, solo tour, some summer festival dates and was on both Jesus Freak cruises! Hoping for more dcT in the very near future!
Now I'm wiggling around like marmalade JELLY..
I wish could attend two upcoming shows: DC talks possible 'land cruise' and Sakura Wars Budokan 3 in Japan. I wish both would get live streamed on RUclips so I could see, but it would be a dream come true if I could somehow see them in person. Did you ever meet any member of DC Talk by the way?
Derek Young hello! Yes I’ve been very blessed to meet each member several times. So happy to say they are the real deal and as friendly to their fans as one would hope! Hope you get to meet them one day!
I believe this was the show I
saw too... Jennifer Knapp and The W's also on the bill?
Watching this in 2019. Where did this mood go? I can't find the right words to describe it. I look around and I don't see or hear anything like this. God Bless these guys. They were totally unique.
Well this is a Supernatural Experience, friend! How else could something remain so incredible 20+ years later? But, yes I see what you mean. Sometimes I wonder if dc Talk themselves realize just how special they really were and just how much of an impact they made. Look at any dc Talk video on this website and it's virtually guaranteed you will people saying about how much they wish the three would come back together and how much of an impact they made on music and their lives. The following that I have seen in just a years time of knowing this group or even Faith music in general has been amazing. And what's more amazing is the fact that when these people listen to this music again, it still sounds and FEELS exactly as the way that it did in the past because it holds up so well.
@@derekyoung8112 Truth. I watch a couple of their videos every day. DC Talk are Supernatural and Timeless:)
Amen
Totally agree
One word, "TobyMac"
HOW I MISS THESE 3 AMAZING GUYS!
I love the 90s Christian music!!! Blessings from México :)
#MakeAmericaFreakAgain
1:22:37 Mr Barry Graul, from Whitecross to Dc Talk to MercyMe. First time I watched this man perform was back in 1995 at North Medford High School in Oregon. It's so crazy to think that I have seen this guy roughly 15 times with 3 different bands.
While in Whitecross Barry performed on the albums Unveiled and Equilibrium, back in the day when they were released on both cd's and cassette tapes. It's worth checking out.
I had front row seats to this concert in Indianapolis (April 3,1999). Good times!
EPIC FOREVER
There's no way I don't like DC Talk, 20 years old and I'm here listening to the same songs, I can't get enough.
Big props to the band for making these songs sound so good live! Awesome.
Dreams come true!!
I finally can see this whole concert!!! Thanks guys!
San Antonio 2001. Headed to six flags with the youth group listening to my favorite band at the time DC Talk. When I got to the park, I saw a sign “DC Talk tonight”. My jaw dropped to the ground.
Luckyyyyy! I wasn’t born before they broke up 😢 I really wish I could have seen them live.
Wow. This is like the Beatles of Christian music I guess I understand why they could not stay together. Mesmerizingly awesome live show DC Talk truly is a legend
You had to compare them to the Beatles...
I feel like they were trying to be U2
20 yrs and Michael hasn't changed a bit, he refuses to age lol Cant wait for #JesusFreakCruise 2019 to rock the boat again (hopefully they'll play more of these songs)
RockermomMSM black don’t crack
im sad he never got married. Maybe he doesn't want to anymore
@@THEDOORIZCLOSED i dont see how his not getting married affects u, u cannot want him to be married more than him if he wants to & if he wants to i dont see how your sadness is making it easier or better for him, if u r that affected get on ur knees and pray to God for him to get married rather than coming here to spreading sadness
Ceddryc shut the FCK up u imbecile. Michael wanted to get married for years and he met a lady that he wanted to marry some time ago but they never got married so i fee for him bc i hope he isnt lonely. Do u feel better now?
@@THEDOORIZCLOSED @Ceddryc Whoa, no need to get offensive here. I understand the feeling for Michael in that sense. I feel for him, too. There's no need to judge others and get mad about it. I personally don't know how he feels about not getting married. I haven't looked it up recently. But, we all know that God made everything in his purpose and his timing. Maybe, Michael will get married someday. Maybe, he won't. We have to leave that up to God. Also, God made man and women to fellowship with each other. To encourage one another, to weep with those who weep, etc. It's okay to care for others. Sometimes, God intends it that way. But honestly, we don't need to criticize or accuse our brothers and sisters. I'm pretty sure this was all a misunderstanding on both parts. God bless you both.
1. These three will always be better together. DC Talk is greater than the sum of its parts. 2. I would love to hear a version of this set with a better mix.
It's 22.21pm in the UK Monday 11 July 2022. I'm listening to this concert yet again. Jesus Lord can we have this again?
AMEN!
It's now 2am here. Still get hooked by their music. Love it how they point us all to Jesus the entire concert while celebrating music. Maybe they can do a world tour together again. Supernatural World Tour? =)
What a treat! I was at the San Jose, CA. show. Watching now I have a few take aways: Tait’s live singing is flawless, Toby seems SO much happier doing what he’s doing today, And Kevin was such a ham! Haha
1:35:05 - 1:35:21 This. 😂😂😂
I love the fun that Toby and Michael have here. They really are brothers in Christ. Love DC Talk always!!!💖💖
Recuerdo que nos reuniamos a ver este concierto mis amigos y yo, fueron de gran influencia en nosotros para hacer musica!
Increible este trio!
Michael Tait never ages!
🙌best trio ever Greetings from Argentina!!! 😊❤🎉
#Supernatural20
A GREAT BAND...GREAT MUSICIANS... GREAT SINGERS....
Such a great show! Thanks for posting!
So what n fire for Him!!! Thank you so much for sharing your talents! 🙏✝️
Love dc talk so much 💕💗🙏 thanks for posting this.
Best Tour. Best Album. There. I said it!
Err.... No...
Barry Jeong totally agree!! I’ve had a hard time saying it about the album cause they all were fantastic but this concert was definitely the best night of my life!!!
Respectfully disagree. JF album and tour was the perfect combination of their talents. On this record and in the concert, Toby plays second fiddle big time to Mike & Kevin's vocals.
Free at Last and Jesus Freak were WAY better than Supernatural by far.
all the different genres in the band intro are soooo well down WOW that's an all star band
thank you for this video that full concert about tour of supernatural experience tour, I always want to see all songs on this tour. You have a good celebrate 20th anniversary.
this is GOLD!
I saw this tour twice. This show/video does not do this tour justice. Having said that. Ive been waiting yrs to see this whole show. Thank you for posting
Amen,to the Word of God,in Christ Jesus'powerful name.🙏🙏😍🎉👏👏👏
I didn't become a fan of theirs until the late 90s, so this was the only tour I saw, but it was amazing!
Love these guys!!! I wish they tour....
I have enjoyed there. Musical talents together and separate, there all extremely gifted 🙌
someone listening in 2020 enjoyed it now!
Childhood memories replenished :) Love from India...
Yes, waiting excitedly for the second coming of our owesome God Jesus from Nazareth.😍😍🎊👏👏
Sensacional!!!!!!I Love This band ,Forever in my heart
They need to make THIS into a dvd/cd!!!!
I mean they did, but they didn't.
@@toopienator exactly! They need to do the full show on cd/dvd....not just 8 tracks! When it came up I counted 5 times and was like....where’s the rest!?!? Like Kevin Poem/what child is this (room literally was silent when he did it that night in 99! I remember that night like last night lol) toby and sugarbear’s rap off, mike’s Godsend! There is so many things they did at the concert that’s not in the dvd or streaming 😭 except on RUclips which can’t just play in the car etc
@@smileyglo The "Kevin Poem" is actually Greensleeves, not his poem from the Jesus Freak album.
@@clintonwilcox4690 I knew that but thanks!
Amazing!!!
Mayo 2020 disfrutando del gra conciertazo de toda mi vida
I've watched this like 30 times already. Lol! Now they need to upload the full free at last concert...would love to see that.
I took the "free at last" in a site called free.archive
Saw this tour twice. Once in Charlotte, NC and Toronto, Ontario. To this day one of the best concerts I’ve seen.
That performance of Greensleeves. I've never seen anything like it. and I guess i never will again. Glorious
25:37 You Consume meeee NA NA NA NA ...
SHARARA RARA AAAAA
Precious and rare!!!!!
Estupendo !!!!!!!!
In the supernatural song Kevin max sang awesome
First concert I ever went to was the Freak Tour 1996 Fredericksburg VG Nosebleeds and had a blast! I saw greatness come together almost some thing happened when they were together and it was Magic to behold
This tour was my first concert. Got to see them in Portland Oregon.
me encanta este concierto dc talk por siempre que chevere que este completo haaaaaa yo los quiero ver en vivo una fans desde colombia
Hallelujah.🤚🤚🤚
I
CAN'T
BELIEVE IT!!!!
I love how TobyMac really gets into "Jesus Freak" and slams into guitarist 😂😂😂😂😂😂
for the love of God make another album already i love u just SAYING
Kevin renounced his faith unfortunately so I highly doubt that's gonna happen.
Я обожаю Кевина, его вокал неповторим, просто уникальный голос... Звук моего сердца, спасибо за этот голос!!! И я считаю, он самый искренний и правдивый в группе, хоть они все отличные ребята))
this could be put on a DVD, as collector's special edition
I went to the tour. Syracuse State Fair, 1999. Great times.
Mind blown. See. Hear. Open your ❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️
Parte de minha juventude. Amo ❤

The memories !!!!!!
Meus bebês♡
são muito talentosos, que som bom de ouvir
I loved every performance from '88-98 that I saw them. I have yet to see them as solo artists and Michael as the lead for Newsboys.
I saw Michael with the newsboys last summer. He hasnt changed a bit. must have found the fountain of youth!
Yes indeed Jesus is still alright 😍😘🙏
I Love DC Talk
10:17 that moment was awesome!!
porfavor mas videos desde Colombia.
please more videos from Colombia.
tanks Toby, Kevin and Michael.
inspiración desde que conocí a Jesús hasta ahora
Now, this is what I'm talking about! By the way...I remember buying the cd the day it came out AND the VHS on the "Supernatural Experience" too. Now, lastly...just wanted to ask: WHENN'S THE REUNION TOUR? We're not asking for much...just a 20-30 cities tour. Then you guys can go back to your own projects! 😜
so far they've only done the cruise thing. I don't think they'll ever do a tour because of their families and they don't want business to ruin their friendship. Tobey was always very headstrong and I think he and Kevin would bump heads a lot when they were a group. On one of their documentaries, you'll even see one of the band members or their manager or somebody having it out with the guys and eventually they just to decided to never fight again. I respect their decision but I reallly realllyyy miss them :(
@@THEDOORIZCLOSED Ya I remember that guy was upset about something, I think that was on their "Narrow Is the Road" video which documented the Free At Last tour if I remember correctly
It was either Narrow the Road or the unreleased DCT movie
GOD
IT'S AWESOME
MY DREAM BECAME TRUTH
MY BAND'S NAME IS BECAUSE OF YOUR MUSIC GUYS!
I love how Toby looks at Michael at 49:23... He's like "Yeah, he just killed that". LOL
Why can't this be a full album?! So much funky Jesus music and I love it!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Legendss
dc Talk, you provide some comeback reunion tour in the Philippines. Many Filipinos liked your tracks, live concerts and more.
don't see many dj's like this one in the opening anymore
My cousins knew all of the members of DC talk Emma Leigh, Donna, and Nicola were all good friends with Toby, Michael and Kevin.
I was at the Supernatural tour in Fargo, ND. Anyone else?
🥰
Great concert and awesome memories! Just a shame they will be tearing down the Palace of Auburn Hills since the Detroit Pistons moved to downtown Detroit :(
Consume me is my favorite.
Praise the Lord 16/6/21 #dctalk
It is crazy that DCTalk became really really famous when they did their songs with Billy Graham the greatest evangelical preacher maybe in America ever probably not but one of the top 3 for sure from 1667-to-2022 And yet Kevin Max is no longer a part of what Billy was a part of that saddens me
excellent group dctalk origin
esto es una joya
Was at this concert
Glory be to Jesus
Holla
Barry as in MercyMe's Barry? Cool!
DC TALK QUE PUEDO DECIR MI 1RA BANDA DE ROCK QUE ESCUCHE, POR ELLOS ME GUSTÓ LA MÚSICA ROCK, LO 1RO QUE ESCUCHÉ EL DVD DE THE FREAK SHOW LO MEJOR PARA MI LA MEJOR BANDA QUE ESCUCHÉ EN MI JUVENTUD NO LA CAMBIÓ MICHAEL, TOBY, KEVIN ARE THE BESTS
The attire is so late 90's. The music holds up, though ;)
Wish I went to Michigan because los angeles, Universal just had acid trip colors and lines. No pictures or images. Maybe they were there I just didn't see them since the 8 foot tall guy was sitting in front of me in the front row right in front of me.
