It's called a Calorie Deficit...zero exercise and you can lose weight. The walking is just adding to the deficit, but there's nothing magical about the walking itself.
Doing Intermittent fasting and then just eating egg whites, chicken and broccoli in your eating window it must be hard to get above 1500 calories a day!
@@avg_fit_dad agree absolutely about being in a deficit. What I meant was eating that clean in an 8 hour eating window it’s going to be a hell of a deficit!! I figure even in a deficit Matt would need at least 2000 cals a day, and that’s being conservative. Getting at least 2000 cals from just broccoli and chicken in 8 hours would not be fun!!
Mat I know you’re knew to bodybuilding but don’t just do chicken and broccoli, it’s not necessary man. There are so many healthy options that won’t burn you out
While you're definitely not wrong. For some people (like me) it's way easier to just stick to something simple. Also, a well made chicken and broccoli dish or steak and broccoli can be amazing. I for example would have to eat something for a looong time before I'd burn out on it. And if it's something I enjoy that's even longer

It depends on how many meals you consume in the eating window. If you are losing weight, you need to be in a deficit.
