Any tips on fingerpicking? Been practicing it for a few days but for some reason I have trouble getting that middle note of the trio (ex: the D note in the G chord)

To be honest, I don’t know the definitive answer for which is better for fingerpicking, but I typically find that lighter gauge (thinner) strings are easier to play in general. I think it’s probably mostly up to opinion and personal playing style though! Not sure if that helps, but hopefully gives a bit of context to why I prefer lighter gauge (thinner) strings 😁

hey bro, my guitar's A string buzzes a lot. And there's no truss rod in it, and no luthier in my city. The buzzing seems to get lessened sometimes when I pull the string upwards under the bridge pin but it doesn't go away. Any thoughts?
If youre stuck then what I usually do is I dont pick a specific string. Ill use my thumb to strum the strings on the top and my index finger to strum the strings on the bottom. It actually sounds pretty nice, not as nice as when you pick at specific strings but ut still sounds very nice. All you need is to get the strumming pattern down and itll sound good

I think the picking pattern is actually BN, G+B, G, D, *G+B*

Maybe you have uneven frets, if you take it to guitar repair shop, they can take a look at it and even up the frets if they need to.

Man I’m stuck on this picking pattern too much
It’s a tricky one! Just keep working with it and practicing it slowly, then build up your speed as you get the feel down! Hope that helps ☺️🤙🏽
