This is a project that I started because I wanted to share with everybody the process of acquiring a skill.
Purpose of this project: Do you know the 10,000 hour rule?
To put it simply, it's a principle which states that "10,000 hours of deliberate practice are needed to become world-class in any field”.
Because it is easier to calculate the number of times rather than the total amount of time, through my personal study and calculations, I converted 10,000 hours to the number of times, and came up with a theory of "1 million repetitive practices to reach world-class level".
(I am tentatively calling this the "1 million times rule")
In order to test this "1 million times rule", I am going to challenge myself to practice kicking 1 million times.
My goal is to reach practice 1 million times to master the Beckham + Roberto Carlos kick (an accurate curve kick and powerful straight kick).
I aim to reach this goal within six years.
I would like to share my progress with everyone starting from now.
I want to prove that it is never too late to start something.
