I've been using Canva for a long while now and I thank you for letting me know about number 13 which will now be handy for my work :) Thanks much SEB!!!
I am a newby...just getting into social media posts for my business. I didn't even know what programs to consider. This video was extremely helpful, thanks!
Hi Seb: You surely have very good communication skill where you keep your speech at a level between strong interest & conservative. So, it’s very pleasant to listen to and not disrupting or sway the students interest & focus in learning. And you teach everything genuinely (no frills). Some of the RUclips educational video were prepared by some people who can chat it away but not really communicating. Worse when they add their unnecessary fabulously looking and facial expressions to try to make their videos look interesting instead of truely presenting the knowledge. Thanks for this 17 very useful pieces of knowledge on Canva. You can be sure I’ll see all of your videos as I go along on becoming well developed user of Canva. Chad
Thank you Chad. I appreciate your positive comments and I'm glad you found the video useful. I always try to make my videos as succinct but as detailed as possible and I don't like to waste people's time so I don't talk much. Thank you for recognising this fact and I wish you good luck with your canva projects. :)
I am only discovering this rare germ of information NOW..wow..THANK YOU SO MUCH!I have been using canva for a few years now without knowing a lot of those tips!
Great video. Thanks! two more questions: 1- can you create popup dialogue box in canva? 2- what video editing program did you use to create your tutorial?
Hi Olivier. Thanks for your comment. 1 - I guess you can, not sure how you would make it interactive though. 2- Techsmith Camtasia - I'm working on a video tutorial for that soon.
Amazingly helpful and clear. I´m mainly using my own images and free for commercial use fonts on Canva. When using Pexel and Pixabay, is there a way of filtering images for commercial use? Thank you.
Hi Claire, thanks for your comment. Glad you found it helpful. No need for filters. All the photos are free for commercial use. You can see the official licenses here www.pexels.com/license/ pixabay.com/service/license/ All the best with your designs. :)
Brilliant - thank you so much. I will have to watch this a number of times before it osmosises into my brain. Maybe I will play it on a loop as I sleep.
Hi Seb, great video, so helpful! Thank you! Just one questions, do I have to use a background verses a picture as a background to change the color of the background? When I used a photo, I couldn't change the color as you directed in your video. Wondered if I was doing something wrong?? Thanks!
Good question Nancy. You can use a picture as a background, you just need to reduce the transparency of the picture to below 100%, then you can change the colour. I only realised this after I made the video after other people asked the same thing.
WOW! I've had Canva for a while and don't use it much because I'm so clumsy with it and it takes me forever to generate a graphic. This video blows my mind with the facility of use you demonstrate. It's inspiring! Thank you!

Thanks! It was USEFUL and FAST! :) When choosing letters frames, is there any trick to make sure that the distance between them is the same? I'm a newbie here
Thank you so much! I really want to study graphic design and I just found Canva so helpful, also 'cause it's free! This video helped me so much! Hi Ambar, thanks for your comment. The text animation was done in the video editing software I use called "Camtasia". It cannot be done in Canva. The animation is a text overlay called a lower third and templates can come with most video editing software. Hope that helps.
