    I've been pushing snow with a Arctic Cat Mud Pro for quite a few years the problem is always where to push the piles. This year I bought a BX and a 55" front mount snow blower. I am impressed with the BX power and hydraulics.

    Nice job. We got about a foot and a half overnight, and expecting to get another six inches or so overnight tonight. Tractors barely getting any down time. Funny how we’re getting the most snow when it’s not even winter. Drive safe guys. It’s slick.

    While a plow or a snowblower is cool, nothing beats the versatility of a loader bucket. I can hit any pile of frozen snow and pickup the piece bigger than the bucket to move it easily. If you don't get to the snowplow pile across your driveway before it freezes the plow or blower are useless. The loader moves it all...... and can be used 365 day per year for other jobs too, mulch, dirt, stone. I have the backhoe / loader attachments, the best piece of equipment I ever purchased.

    • @KubotaBXathome
      @KubotaBXathome  4 года назад +1

      Yes for sure, the plow I have has a shovel like bottom so it finishes nice and fast plus the plow forgives the uneven concrete, but I always look forward to the snow pile move with the bucket, more seat time lol.

      I have a 54" blower on front of my newholland and it hogs through any depth of ice or snow at end of my driveway from plowtrucks. And I live on a major hwy so the last 4' to 6' can get very hard and frozen. Had no issues hogging through 3' frozen banks with my little 25hp. To me there is no replacement for a front mount blower. But the Kubota does seem to push pretty well.

Are your tires loaded ? My JD front end kinda pushes like yours was doing - would be nice if they put steering brakes on the smaller tractors , huh ? Nice video .

    Chris, waiting for my 2380 to arrive. That is a lot of snow, didn't see much slipping. How are those tires on grass, do they rip it up? Mine is coming with turf, but I can still ask the dealer to swap them out.

    • @KubotaBXathome
      @KubotaBXathome  5 лет назад

      Hi Frank congratulations! The traction is great, no slipping especially in 4WD. I had turf on order but changed before delivery to bar after doing some research. Given many trips with any tire will be tough on your grass, but I am happy I switched to bar. Between the grade next to the house and the winter plowing I am very happy with the bar tire and would recommend you give serious consideration to it. If you intend to use it for lawn service remember the rear has a differential (a pedal to lock) and you don’t need 4WD to mow. You may want to see some of my vids showing the grade a bar tire will climb. Post your new tractor if you can would love to see!

      Sure Brian, first off is the classic revolving beacon, as I recall it’s about 8 amps, not the new LED technology, but it commands classic respect and surely melts the snow off itself - www.amazon.com/Wolo-3610-R-Halogen-Rotating-Emergency/dp/B000AMKUHQ?th=1 Lastly is a classic in its own right the LED strobe, tiny but efficient. My only complaint is especially below level, illuminance drops off noticeably - www.amazon.com/Abrams-SAE-Class-1-Blaster-Amber/dp/B01M35IT64/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1519102034&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=Abrams+SAE+Class-1+Blaster+360&psc=1
