Hi Darren I just use an oliveyte in winter to make as less disturbance as possible I like a little plop rather than a big splash. If I was chucking it further I would then go to a bomb to go with the distance I'm fishing. Regarding the bread its all about what you feel comfy with. From the videos I've watched and what I have learnt always use Warburtons toastie bread its more sticky than other bread so helps stay on longer. I use a quick stop when threading my bread discs on and personally I know alot of people think different but I have confidence on my bread staying on for a good 20 minute so I like to do 20 min casts until I find signs of fish and liners. But thats my confidence in it staying on other people have different opinions.
Really enjoyed watching that tip go round, great video Mark.
