Yet another person animated it. And someone else probably wrote whatever lore exists on this thing. This thing's existence cost a day in the lives of like half a dozen people.
Snailks are such a medieval joke enemy, and I love them... I hope the expansion pack has cavaliers with jousting lances riding oversized rabbits or something...
When I first saw the thumbnail for this video I thought it was a spoiler for a Shadow of the Erdtree enemy lol, since Vaati and others have gotten early access to the DLC and have made videos, I assumed this was showing off a new enemy and I was worried I spoiled myself on something

@@jettisonantics Might be because there's several snails already and they didn't have somewhere for them to go. They look like they would fit well in Limgrave, but throwing an aggressive poison enemy like that so early might have been a bit much, and Altus Plateau pretty much has a ban on all things snake.
Why don't you mention that this enemy doesn't exist in the game? I just wasted a few minutes looking around in ER before I looked in the comments and saw people explain that it's an unused model.
It's not possible to copyright, as it's too general of an idea. Combining two already existing animals is never something that you can copyright. As long as you don't explicitly copy the exact designs, you'll be good.

Snakes typically burrow, which is functionally the same as curling into a shell except you can do it anywhere and you're arguably less exposed. So what would drive a snake-like race to develop shells?
"Have you seen this enemy before?" Is pretty misleading and clickbaity. It implies that this enemy exists in the game but is hidden, but it's just an unused model for the snail enemies.

And really thoughtful too of the design. I like it that when it sprays, it uses its neck flaps to fan the spray so it could go a good distance.
