Sweet Daddy Dee has no filters. But funny as hell. My favorite puppet so far. I like to see another video with Sweet Daddy. 😃😃
The first time I saw this "Don't you eva do that again." had me hysterical.
I remember Jeff saying on the dvd commentary about Sweet Daddy Dee, that he actually went to pimp conventions to get SDD's look and character. But I've since heard that one of his writers at the time was black and when he left he retired SDD as he couldn't write for him as well

Pretty sure she's done some duet stuff with Jeff and not only is she just as skilled as Jeff at running conversations with multiple voices, but she can also SING through her puppets!

I don't think he's ever told why he stopped using sweet daddy either but I would assume it would be for similar reasons he knows where he can make good jokes for and who just don't work for his act
I would also assume that doing a feminine voice would be harder post-puberty

It comes with the territory of ventriloquism. Having to talk without actually talking causes it to develop. Jeff's been in the business for eons, and it's one thing I noticed.

Achmadina I'm sorry, i was half asleep when i originally put in this name. There was a version where Jeff put a wig and a dress on Achmed and transformed the charactor to Achmedina ! There was also a puppet who was supposed to be a super hero, although his name escapes me at the moment.
*Jeff* doesn't have any female characters but he has worked with an amazing young female Ventriloquist *Darci Lynn* who can sing & has male & female characters checkout her full *AGT* audition (as an introduction to her do the Full 7min version not the 5min)
You gotta see Darci Lynne, she’s a great puppeteer and a very good singer. Jeff’s not just white he’s toothpaste white. One of his retired characters is Diane
There's one line they left out. Sweet Daddy D. goes, "I'm like coffee. Before you can savor my fine brown goodness first its got to go through a big old white filter."
He has a female version of Achmed called Achmedina.

A few years ago, he introduced Larry, personal advisor to then-President Trump.
Short lived. In Jeff's 2012 'Minding the Monsters' special, the opening features a mega cool haunted house miniature, and the graveyard has several names of Jeff's past puppets, Sweet Daddy Dee, and Melvin (another of Jeff's one offs) are seen as names on the gravestones.
Hope Url is next to end up there.

Britt, Jeff did a short lived comedy series on Comedy Central in 2009, "The Jeff Dunham Show", last about 7 episodes, and it was like the muppet show on crack.
Seems to me it was about that time he was going through his divorce. Didn't last beyond the bubblewrap for children of drunk parents skit as I recall. Far more raunchy than his normal fare and in retrospect you could tell it was a dark time for him.

Jeff did have a female in the entourage. She was retired because he had trouble writing material for a female. Because, as a male, he never understood how women think.

Jeff grew up in a very Christian family. When he started using curse words in his act, his parents didn't like it. There is one act he did where Achmed was dressed like a woman. I know it's not the same but it is funny.

Jeff Dunham was in a movie Dinner with Schmucks and had a woman ventriloquist dummy, but he doesn't have one in his act on tour. He could neveruse this puppet in today's society.

That segment in his special Arguing With Myself was the ONLY time Sweet Daddy Dee was used. He was then retired due to backlash from the liberal black community, I believe. The baby, Sheamus was not too good, and so was his Gen Z/millennial character URL (pronounced Earl), so Jeff has a little history of no so successful puppets.
But Britt, you haven't seen his superhero character Melvin, from another of his specials; his nose is big and long, similar to Humpty Hump from Digital Underground. He is funny, go check that one out!

You’re missing the newest character “Url”. It’s a teen who is attached to his devices & annoys Jeff . He’s funny. Jeff created him over Covid lockdown & introduced him when he was able to travel again.

If people w/gold teeth have bad breath, it's either because they aren't brushing their teeth or because of what they eat after they brush! Gold & silver, especially silver, are anti bacterial & anti microbial in nature. So is honey, by the way. Hospitals often use silver or honey as salves (especially with burn victims) to help difficult wounds & MRSA infections heal! Honey's great for sore throats AND bandages, so keep it handy in the kitchen pantry! 👍🤗❤️

Young lady, you got it all wrong about gold teeth. Gold is an ideal material for a crown, softer than enamel and can be ‘burnished’ to the margin of the ‘prep’ (other reasons too. Most crowns these day are made by a milling machine then stained by humans (at the moment). Bad breath is usually caused by poor oral hygiene although there can be other reasons. Love your channel, keep it up kiddo. Joe.
From what I understand, this is the only performance of Daddy D before it was axed. In this current world of "I'm offended by everything", people have become afraid of humor, no matter how over-the-top it is. I guess it got too many complaints. It's a pity.
I think the Main reason you may Never see him do a Female Puppet is probably because he can't emulate a woman's voice.
