@brocadeblu Thank you for this! It's true, seems like every collection nowdays is either a reference to a past movement or a theme-y/costume-y collection but then, designers role has become tougher, they have to develop new ideas and think like a businessman.
I absolutely love Phoebe at Celine...especially after the Ivana Omazic disaster. She truly creates garments that women want to wear, but didn't know it. Its not too obviously "fashion"...its just chic. I love minimalism, and Phoebe gives us a new, and body conscious, take on it.
@brocadeblu Fashion is revolutionary, not evolutionary. Ther may be references to other designers, but there's always something different. But I TOTALLY see the similarities.

I really hope black, white, camel and khaki are not her favorite colors overall....I love a good neutral, but come on...
