Chad is a talker when he's fabricating, but when he's with friends, he just quiets down and listens and learns. And then we viewers learn too. What a great video today.
This gentleman has had a wonderful life, this is what’s all about good memories and the stories to with it. Great to have you go out and visit these fellas fun to hear about each item. Chad you look like you’re having a great time. Thanks for taking me on a road trip today. 🚙
Brad's a pretty cool dude and a truly good guy. He's got a lot of knowledge and experiences overflowing from his brain he's more than happy to share with folks...not to mention the really cool stuff he has, ready to sell but with no pressure. I hope you stay in touch with this guy
I'm the guy who painted the red Cadillac on the wall. I painted it in 2000 when I lived in Hepburn Sask. I think Brad commissioned me to do a green 56 Dodge as well. What a thrill for me to see my painting in this video. Looks like it is separating from the frame, hope Brad notices before it moves to the ground and takes everything off the shelf and onto those pedal cars and bikes,
What a fun visit!! Heck I'd still be there chewing the fat with Brad, he's got stories and collectibles stacked up like cord-wood 🤣 Proper explanation of Harley engines to be sure (hence my screen name). Brad's place is a bona-fide museum complete with the story of each piece. Thanks for taking us along for the ride, another great outing with Hiltz Auto Co!!!
It's always cool to listen to stories from the past and how they acquire things. I talk to my son about my younger days growing up with things I had or what we use to do. Memories is what we need to keep our minds from fading away. This guy had his enjoyment and time with these things and he's ok to sell them off and pass them on. Thanks Chad and Jolene for another great video.
Man this guy has some absolutely killer pieces!!! That lamp and ashtray set ! Idk exactly but for sure is worth 3 times more here In the states compared to what he’s asking!! Please reach out!! I need to purchase some of these items!
Dang! I wish the guy would have talked about that little green "truck", that was between the red hot rod and the camper! It was intended to resemble a '47-'53 Chevy pickup, but it was not an actual one, by any stretch of imagination. (And before anyone chastises me....Yes, I am quite aware that the Chevrolet Advance Design trucks ran from late 1947 through the first half of 1955. But the '54 and "First Series" '55 had a completely different grill than the '47-'53 models. They also had single piece windshields. The '47-'53 all had a 2-piece windshield. I owned a 1954 for 20 years, and I did a frame-off rebuild of it myself. So I am very familiar with the Advance Design trucks.😁)
This guy is a legend ! His memory is incredible,he literally knows the history of everything he has. You’re very lucky to have places like this to go to, I could spend all day in there. 😊
I am saving this video, so that whenever my wife of 55 years, gives me a hard time about my stuff, I can bring this out as a great defence. He doesn't just have a great collection, he has several outstanding collections. More power to him. Others have mentioned this, but when Chad is with these people, he is there to learn from them, so he doesn't attempt to carry the conversation.
I love these type of videos. It’s the next best thing to being there for a look around in person. I had a Porsche 928S like that about 20 years ago; I gave it to a friend for free on the basis that he got it MOT tested so that we could transfer the cherished registration plate back to me and he kept the car. If I had a crystal ball and not hairy balls I wouldn’t have done that 🤯
Chad and JOLENNE, enjoyed you’re road trip today! What else you going to do besides work in the winter? What a nice antique road trip. That sure is a nice fellow you visited with! Very knowledgeable. Are you going to visit Jim anytime soon? Thanks you’re friend from Utah Clint
That place is too beautiful, it's full of old things of all kinds. It takes at least half a day to see everything... How cool! I also saw a Porsche 928 😎👍
I still have my childhood 70's Allis Chalmers.... pedal tractor with a trailer..... i do remember riding on it when I ever went to my grandparents house.
Hi Chad & Jolene, this man sure has a lot of collectables and interesting things. Seems like a very nice fellow and he sure likes to talk about alot of interesting things. I could go crazy in there spending money that I don't have to spend. I am not real big on sedans I really like coupes however, that Merc was'nt it with the suicide doors looks pretty nice. I am sure he wants plenty for it though. I wonder what year and engine is in the Jaguar that he had there. He probably wants plenty for it too. I hope you two had fun today on your road trip!
WOW !!!!! I sure enjoyed our trip today, what a fantastic place to visit,,the fork lift will be a good addition to the new building,,thank you chad an Jolene for takeing us with you today,,your both the greatest,,luv ya’s,,👍👍😀
Really enjoyed the video..lots of info on lots of stuff...that hotrod tractor pretty badazzz...liked the cut a way motor too...seen lots of stuff I like 👍...that forklift is definitely alot of weight...be good to have if he can get it there safely..good luck...thanks for letting us tag along..great video..thanks jolene and chad..cya tomorrow
That friend of chads was a talker and Chad was just soaking it all in,So much to Learn from the older generation...............................Fort Worth,Tx........United States
😃Chad-> Might be better off getting an all-terrain forklift with bigger wheels and more ground clearance you could use around the yard or in the shop! Only thing missing in that guys shop was a kitchen sink!☆
Chad I like your road trip. You take us to some interesting places and the people that we meet along the way keep up the good work and I do love your fabrication videos have learned a lot
Jolene, that antique tall grandmother clock radio you guys have is a Canadian Westinghouse Columiare radio designed by Raymond Lowey. Designer of the Studebaker Avanti and many other cool automobiles. Cheers.
Absolutely love seeing you guys go to different places like this, I am from Kentucky and its very interesting seeing the things y'all have in Canada, I would love to come there some day, keep on picking!!!
That display engine is very cool! There is a car museum in my town, that has a similar display. Unfortunately, unless they have students visiting on a field trip, the museum never has it operating.
Chad, someone (maybe even the guy who you bought it from) likely has told you... but don't ever try to use that forklift/reach truck anywhere that is NOT concrete or asphalt!! That style of machine WILL NOT work/roll/move once it gets on dirt, gravel or sand. And secondly...if you have something on the forks, and it's up in the air...DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TURN THE MACHINE!!! Yes, it has those "outriggers" outside of the forks. But if you have a load in the air, they will not prevent the forklift from toppling sideways. Please trust me on this! I know what I am saying. I have seen it happen. And I was a certified operator (operating a dozen different types and sizes) of forklifts and reach trucks, for over 30 years.
I want that stock Panhead Harley, that is a beautiful bike. The rest of the Harleys are super sweet also. The Evo motors have not been called Blockheads since they first came out.
Sorry they were called block heads. I bought a 1988 Softail new and they were called block heads. IMHO they are the best motor Harley has built, but I love the look of pans an knuckles.
But thanks for bringing your friend to us. He is a real Jewel 💎 in quite entertaining. His knowledge just kept pouring out. His collections past and present fantastic.
Chad and jolene that's one cool place to go and look for things he has just about everything that people want to collect and knows so much about what he is selling. Keep up the great work the both of you 👏 👍
I had Replica of that Red wagon. It has headlights that work. Friend of mine bought it for her kid and I got it later and sold couple of years ago for $350
Chad is a talker when he's fabricating, but when he's with friends, he just quiets down and listens and learns. And then we viewers learn too. What a great video today.
That is what you call respect God bless and have a blessed night

I did not even realize it but your hundred percent correct. He becomes a sponge and soak sit all in.

My kind of place.

Thanks Chad and Jolene for another great video.
He is just as interesting as the collection. He has really lived a life.
Lived more of a life then we can dream of probably
That dude is cool! Thanks for taking us along Chad and Jolene!
I believe that Chad uses these adventures for design inspiration. Some great fabrication ideas await.
Neighbour's with items for sale are just like friends with stories to tell all are welcome ! Thumbs-up Jolene and Chad !
Man this guy has some absolutely killer pieces!!! That lamp and ashtray set ! Idk exactly but for sure is worth 3 times more here In the states compared to what he’s asking!! Please reach out!! I need to purchase some of these items!
This guy is a real character! Fun times.
Thank you for taking us on the trip visiting with the man sharing his loves.
Another fun day on the road. Chad and Jolene will get a new tool for the shop today.
What an awesome visit all from the comfort of my chair. Thanks so much Chad and Jolene. The collection was totally wicked.
Gosh I love that Monarch! I own one since my early 20s (63 now) but mine needs work now!
That wooden van is cool. I’ve got an ‘81 Ford
Bad Chad meets Bad Brad :)
I love watching the builds Bad Chad does. I’m looking forward to seeing the fenders being worked on again.
Dang!
I wish the guy would have talked about that little green "truck", that was between the red hot rod and the camper!

So true. When i videos such as this one it takes me back to the "good ole days" when life was fun and much simpler than today..
I love these type of videos. It’s the next best thing to being there for a look around in person. That will now be a spot for everyone looking for something. The man knows what he has.

That Jaguar is called a 420. '66 to '69. It used a 4.2 litre twin cam engine. Basically an evolution of the old Mk2 Jaguar.
Monarch was a "Canadian cousin" to the Mercury.
They were sold by Ford of Canada, beginning in 1946.
Or at least that's what Google says. Hahaha
cool cars!
That was a very cool day you shared with us
The bell 🔔 on the peddle car is the Fire Chief car

Man this guy has a lot of collectibles and loves to talk about them
Interesting bunch of collectibles. I’m a senior, and I have a photo of my dad as a toddler with a peddle car circa 1928
Fun video, use caution when buying used electric lift. If batteries need replacement, that can be expensive
I would love to talk to Brad. That would be awesome 😁
Phew! Brad can talk very interesting. Thanks for sharing your day out Chad & Jolene...
That friend of chads was a talker and Chad was just soaking it all in,So much to Learn from the older generation...............................Fort Worth,Tx........United States

Get a guy with a deck truck to pick it up and then put it on the trailer.
Chad has that Ford with the flathead that he could bring the forklift home on. Yeah, right.
I live in New Glasgow definitely checking this out

Hope you guys are having a fine time!

Nice guys helping out nice guys nice. Lots of beautiful stuff in there.
That's a Laughing Head. It's Spits water and laughs when you pull cord. I used to sell them. There's 15 to 20. Different ones.

Nice Levi's 512s. I like your style--wide cuffs, too!
Loved watching Bad Chad fabricating like mad to create his wonderful art for Jolene to film bringing it into our homes to warm our hearts
Chads like a kid in a candy store, we can see his brain working 🥓🇨🇦🍔🎸🕺🏼🍺

Thanks for letting us tag along with you Chad.
Did I catch you were off to check out a Morris later? that would be awesome..I hope you video that one. Love all the things you do, thank you.
Yeah, I would like to see what Chad would do with a Morris.
IMO, they are cool looking vehicles, regardless of year or model.
That guy is exhausting!!! I have a friend here in KY he reminds me of. My friend is from Nova Scotia.
But thanks for bringing your friend to us. He is a real Jewel 💎 in quite entertaining. His knowledge just kept pouring out. His collections past and present fantastic.
Love the " penny farthing" bike
