3:05 I have NEVER heard someone say "ninja-go" instead of "ninjaah-go" before
I was thinking that aswell😂
My soul left my body
It mentally hurt to hear it pronounced that way T-T
@@apenguinthatlikestodraw2721 ikr 🤣
It doesn’t sound right
4:43 they did not call the advancement that. I love it.

@@Squircul What’s with all the thorns? (Half b half p symbol)
@@bnusxd5277 It's from the medieval English version of the Wikipedia page for frogs I believe
The Velociraptor’s small chicken-like appearance is scientifically accurate. It only looks like a miniature T-Rex in the Jurassic World franchise is to make it sound more cool and thrilling
Also cuz in the og jp book it was based after Deinonychus since it was merged into velociraptor as an American species for a bit.
@@spinofaaurusthealmighty8981 very weird stuff
Makes you wonder why they chose the velociraptor instead of a bigger one
@@witheredapricotbecause it sounds cooler
I believe they based them off of the Utah raptor
As a dinosaur nerd, I took 500 mental damage every time they tried to pronounce the names.
It be like that
Me too😂
That and when they called pronounced ninjago as ninja go for me
Anurognathus and cotylorhynchus were particularly concerning
That's why Imma correct them I a respectful way
Loving Skip trying to pronounce all these names
Minecraft: Ancient Update
NOTNICTO?!
Bedrock dev ahh
ooooooooo
ancent
yes
You should review Alex’s caves with Dan and Jay, I really want to see your reactions to the masterpiece that is Alex’s caves!
Oh that’s a great idea
That would be the most greatest idea ever😊
dude they should
Skip, that is what a Velociraptor is now thought to look like as they've found quill knobs in one of the specimens ulna (2007 in velociraptor specimen IGM 100/981) but if you thought that they were larger you can blame Hollywood for that, Jurassic Park used the wrong name and wrong dino, they had a raptor yes but the dino animatronic was a Utahraptor and not a velociraptor one but they called it a velociraptor so that just stuck.
Wasn't utahraptor discovered after jurassic park came out?
@@ponseth198 Utahraptor was also larger than the ones from Jurassic Park. The ones in JP were based more on Dynonychus, which was considered by some to be another species of Veloiraptor at the time. Michael Crichton thought that the name Velociraptor sounded better, since then it could be shortened to just raptor
Utahraptor was described in 1993 after Jurassic Park was finished. Kirkland et al actually considered naming it after Spielberg but his lawyers said no
Isn’t like the canon lore that the velociraptors were upscaled and the feathers removed because the park builders thought that would make them scarier?
@@krishsankheJust the upscaling thing, the feather lore was added in Jurassic World, for a pretty simple reason: When the first two Jurassic Parks came out feathered non-avian dinosaurs were still unknown.
The first clearly non-avian dinosaur with feather impressions (a compsognathid) was described in 1995 and the first dromaeosaurs with feathers were described around 2000. The raptors were actually supposed to have a full coat of feathers in JP4 but then stuff happened and they decided to lean more into the "corporate playing god" angle for world
10:25 bro say Ah perry the playtpus hwachavenator😂😂😂
I love this
Why is that impression so good!?😂
the insane thing I learned is amonites are still around, their shells just adapted to be more streamline and less spiral. They live in the coral reefs and are - to my understanding - the last of the cephalapods that still have shells
Right, like the nautilus!
Correct fellow scientists! 😎🤓
Sorry to burst your bubble but Ammonites did go extinct at the end of the cretaceous. Nautilus are a completely different branch of Cephalopods. They're the sister group of all other cephalopds so technically much more primitive than Ammonites
@@KatepuzzileinExactly, ammonites are extinct but nautilus aren't
@@AinsleyKatzman nope, nautilus are not descended from ammonites
As a paleo fan I was cackling at how you guys were pronouncing these names. I really do wonder if the paleontologists go out of their way to make the names of these animals as incomprehensible as possible.
They had a missed opportunity to recreate ice age. Woolly Mammoth + Sloth + Smilodon
Also I guess Dan is the human child.
3:06 just finished the new season today, and the way they pronounced Ninjago hurts my soul
Ninjago😈
Failboat without his doug dimma hat feels empty
16:39 "lick my sword!" out of context it sounds... uh...
DID HE SAY NINJA GO. I feel so much pain in my heart. 3:06
What do you call a dino who's tired from walking? Dino - sore
hi
😐
... don't ever speak again
@@spinofaaurusthealmighty8981I agree with the spinofaarus
Fun fact, Majungasaurus was the first dinosaur with fossil evidence of cannibalistic behavior
🤯
Bruh why did 11:05 feel straight out of a horror game? XD
average fnaf jumpscare
Last words before disasters
so who's gonna tell Skip that pirates actually drank something called grog?
(it was just hard alcohol)
It was actually watered-down rum.
17:07 POV Jay when he learns about literally every animal: 😨
11:51 fun fact this is known as the galloping croc
Beelzebufo legit translates into "Devil Frog", so yea i get why Jay doesn't like them, they'rre even in a game called ARK Survivel Evoloved.
And the Hwachavenator is based off Velonasaur from the Ark Extinction DLC
i only have the main game,@@dinosaurdave4228 but that's still kewl, :D
These mobs are pretty cool wish to see mojang implement something like this
Jurassic World theme plays lol😂😂😂
Even though most of these creatures never made an appearance in Jurassic park
12:50 ive heard of a gigantopithecus before
The way skip said “Ninjago” hurts my soul. I understand that’s how it’s spelled but that’s NOT how it’s pronounced
when the newest update for Fossils and Archeology comes out yall should test it out together. Itll be funny watching yall try to see how some of the different things work along with looking at the dinosaurs.
7:05 that's pretty funny because dug or (דג) in hebrew quite literally means fish.
10:50 tf2 reference.
It costs $400,000 to fire this weapon, for 12 seconds.
Duck fortress 2 at 19:36
I love how they give each of the creatures their own unique mechanics
I’ve only known about anurognathus for a few minutes, and I already love them
I loved that Perry reference
10:50 TF2 reference spotted
Also, 19:37 he acknowledges this as tf2 reference and not the achievement that is a direct quote from heavy weapons guy
Cotylorhynchus is actually not a dinosaur. They are a synapsid. Synapsids evolved into mammals. These goobers are more closely related to us than the dinosaurs 😶
10:51 Team Fortress 2 Heavy reference
"they're getting all angles" 18:10
ALEXS CAVES!1 (and actually check the biomes not in single biome)
DAN DOESN'T HAVE THE HAT FROM LAST VOD
Honestly the dinopedia looks uncannily similar to the Alex’s mob animal book.
'hes a Ninjago character' thats my fav part of the vid
The tRex dancing in the water is perfect 😂
These tips always dont fail to amaze me!
10:52 ''some people think they can outsmart me.. maybe *sniff* .. maybe. but i have to find someone who can outsmart boolet!''
Did anybody else hear the slight sound of a moan at 0:47 ? im not joking, or am i schizophrenic?
It is absolutely hilarious hearing y'all trying to pronounce these names lol
5:16 I'm a major Pokémon fan, I know a Pokémon when I see one and that's a fricking Pokémon
10:45 Okay now that’s just a Velonasaur from Ark
I feel like at any moment skip will look at the camera with nerd glasses 😂
10:25 ah perry the platypus the ✨HwAcHaVeNaToR✨
Well Yes feeling like Owen Grady judt exploring around with the Prehistoric Creatures and yes them being Extinct then Yes the Pronounciations being Very Bizarre and Yes the Bigger AI Using and the Grabbing it Up with the History, then Yes the Wooly Mammoth being Nice and tbe Rhino Hippo then Yes the Big Lengths being Reached in and the Bigger Times of the Plays abd the Kraken Action being Fire, then Yes the Fire Workiny
11:06 is like when i think me and my chihuahua are chill but then she attacks me out of nowhere
"It costs 400,000 dollars to fire this weapon, for 12 seconds" ---- Meet The Heavy
"g-jinkgo" i cant ToT
Also
"Ann-yurr-ogg-nay-thuss"
As a dinosaur fanatic, the pronunciations are chipping of pieces of my soul
where is the hats
this is great
Bro turn into doctor doofenshmirtz
The way Skip pronounced Ninjago is offensive
I love that you’re so much Dino’s❤❤❤❤❤
Yeah some of them look like Pokemon and others look like pikmin enemies/bosses
They silly like that!!
The arena could use a few of those new trees as decorations!
9:25 wait a few seconds and you'll say 'gotta catch em all'
No hats..😞
1 hour gang
👇
Over or Under ?
Hello
Nice👍
Edit: Me realise basic comment here
12:57 “Zuloagee” 😂 13:09 “crokarina”😂 7:07 ”dougdougliosaurourous”😂
I love the wiki meme reference.
Nobody:
Skip: craniados
What the heck!? I’m already subscribed but I wanna play the rhythm game too!
I subscribed a long time ago or so, like, three, two, one, full screen. Lmao
I didn't realize this was just posted until now
8:11 It's because they're not dinosaurs. Cotylorhynchus lived and died millions of years before dinosaurs existed.
BUT WHERE ARE THE HATS
fact the Majungasaurus is a cannibal
So, are we just gonna ignore the fact that the Antarctopelta plate look like a bunched up fist?
I'm a dinosaur 0:24
I loved this!
THE velciraptor was accurate wow
1 hour gang here
👇
Cotylorynchus wasn't a dinosaur.
You can immediately tell which game the developer has made their personality
EAT THE 101th WORM
27 seconds
🤯
NOT THE MAMMOTH MEATBALL ✋️😭
Failboat. Where’s Your Hat.
Probably eaten by a dinosaur.
10:52 I am heavy weapons guy,And this is my weapon.
The Hwachavenator looks to be based on the Velonasaur from Ark Survival Evolved, from the Extinction map.
WOOOO FINALLY
Yay! Gigantopithecus!
Failboat got me laughing because he said "a pancake of cotylorhynchus"😂😂😂😂😂😂
you should also check out the dawn era its just like ark but in minecraft
love the tf2 refrence as the advancement name
Cool vid!
I did it on beat
I like the orchestra reference
Where's failboat's hat?
Minecraft!
10:22 HWACHAVENATOR!
Does look like ankylosaurus😂😂
