We've been using this knife for awhile and have a review on our channel- I can attest that this knife rocks! Ive yet to see anyone say anything negative that has used this blade in the field. Guy is an awesome dude and really cares about the end user.
Damn this video needs to be like 2hrs longer (serious), I love Nutn and him having a camera/production crew like this is just a dream come true for me. Sweet!
I have been following Nutn's channel for a long time. He is the one that introduced me to Bldae HQ which quickly became my go to knife supplier. Thank you to both Nutn and Blade HQ. I'm loyal to both.
Great decision (no-brainer) to have Nutn highlight a product for you. These shouldn't last long. The man is solid. One of a very few people that really will have your back , a true brother.
I've been reeeally fortunate to have been able to pick up these TNP edition knives, this is my third (Microtech, LionSteel, and GSO) all from Blade HQ...it pays to keep a close eye on newly posted vids...lol!!! Thank you Nutn and Blade HQ for some awesome knives, and beautiful vids! Well done!
He does not present himself as a celebrity. Most people watch him, for his opinion... kind of the point of watching him, vs another person. Any robot can shout out data. It takes an analytical mind to present logical opinion. And technically some of his reviews, have sold thousands of knives. He is proud of that, and I would be as well. Overall a good dude, doing what we love, and throwing a little knowledge our way. Take what you will. He is awesome in the end. Haters gonna hate.
Now that I've watched the video that really was a great vid. Maybe my favorite TNP video of all time! It's good to see him partner with another RUclipsr. I think that will bring viewers in to his and your channels! Excellent!
tell me how hiking with your dog tests a 3v knife . prying out a nail and opening up a can with a knife wow this must be the best knife ever thank you nutnfancy for showing us how to be tools in the woods
Probably a good thing this video came out when it did. I jumped onto the website while watching this planning to make an impulse buy. Fortunately(?) I'm mid-way through my pay cycle and can't afford the knife right now. It's a good thing because I've got other priorities in my knife purchase plans. Still, good knife test and great quality video.
That looks like Tible fork, and hiking up trail 041(totally nice motorcycle single track), I don't know if 041 is even open after they worked on the dam.
It would seem to me that appeals to a certain segment of viewers who just "don't know any better." He's obviously an intelligent guy who knows a LITTLE bit about a lot of things. His bushcraft skills are lacking compared to others (Canterbury) and his firearms are lacking compared to others, but he knows enough to keep layman people entertained. He is good at networking (meeting lots of people) and seems to really enjoy putting out videos, which are both big strengths for youtube success.
Haha Nutn you torched that blade! Loved the review and that you actually used it for some weird task that many people have thought they couldn't do before. Great vid Paul!
"that's like a Moses staff" : ) Nutn & Doodle are always saying off the wall stuff. Great video KnifeHQ. Good to see you hosting some great guests & fellow youtubers!
Hi, If I remember correctly, in the Southard video nutnfancy was complaining about the price being too high ONLY because the knife is overseas produced (in Taiwan) and not US made.
I have a KA=BAR knife (BK2) which would be better at removing that nail without damage, but I would not try doing it with that knife or any of the ones I have. That knife looks nice and I would not mind having one if I needed one. I am waiting for my new KA-BAR knife which I ordered about two weeks ago and really want to get my hands on it to see how well it is built. I probably should have ordered the knife with my name on it since I ordered two other knives from the factory that way. I had not heard of the Survive company until this morning and will look into their products also.
04:26, 08:21 The day we filmed was my last day at Blade HQ. I helped shoot this one, along with pestering Nutn for a year prior in order to get him to film. If I hadn't left Blade HQ when I did, this video would look practically the same.
Don’t give your money to survive knives ! I bought a Gso6 in June 2017 , paid $250 for it, it’s now March 2021 and I still havn’t received my knife and after refusing a refund I had to file a complaint with the Better business bureau , which Btw survive knives has a D+ rating with!
Hello, I wanted your opinion on steel CPM 20 CV because I'm thinking of buying a fixed blade to be used in nature in M390 steel (practically the same as CPM 20 HP). Do you think it is an excellent steel of a knife for use in nature of this size? It is robust in use heavy? It keeps the edge for long? It does not rust if used in humid environments? So in your opinion it is one of the best choices of knives of this type? Let me know what you think, thanks to a Michael salute.
My humble opinion: CPM-3V or 80CRV2 for a fixed blade survival knife (3V is much more rust resistant). CPM-20CV, M390, CTS-204P for a folder blade is hard to beat.
Sign up for Survive! Knives newsletter to stay informed on release dates. They sent me an email today stating the following...There has been a lot of requests to be added to a waiting list so we will soon be offering a way to reserve your spot in line for GSO models that are currently in production. Don't worry, we will send out another newsletter when that is open.
Great video guys! But there were parts where you could see the camera, mic or the video crew guy. I don't know if that was on purpose, but it takes some excitement out from the video. Kudos though.
We've been using this knife for awhile and have a review on our channel- I can attest that this knife rocks! Ive yet to see anyone say anything negative that has used this blade in the field. Guy is an awesome dude and really cares about the end user.
aged like milk
I agree with Paul, honest testing here nothing more. Go Paul!
Good ole Nutn! He helped inspire me to start my channel and I emulate his tabletop reviews. Great vid!
Just seen this video but wow nutn needs a camera crew lol this worked out well
Thanks for watching. This was a fun one to film!
Dude Nutn is awesome. He also kind of provided the foundation for a tone of the channels we enjoy today.
I met Nutn at Blade HQ last week and got to preview the blade. It was like heaven
I'm loyal to both.
much respect for Guy and Survive Knives.. he has come a long way and is top notch!
Great field test, guys. Not far from where Ben and I went for our PM2 test. I've been looking at those GSO's, and that 5.1 is VERY tempting.
I love Nutn!! He needs a show!
Great decision (no-brainer) to have Nutn highlight a product for you. These shouldn't last long. The man is solid. One of a very few people that really will have your back , a true brother.

Great job Paul ! Already a natural at filming !
Nutnfancy and KnifeHQ! Say what!?...... It's doesn't get any better than this!
Congratulations to survive knives!! These knives rock and they stand behind their well made well thought out products. WELL worth every cent!!!!!
shortest nutnfancy vid ever, dang that only took 45 years for him to stop talking.
He does not present himself as a celebrity. Most people watch him, for his opinion... kind of the point of watching him, vs another person. Any robot can shout out data. If I didn't already have one I'd be all over that TNP special edition!
That duckface Nutn was doing in the thumbnail made me think shortbus nerfinfarcy.
Keep up the cool vids
Love watching Nutn-involved vids....and knives too.
i bought one yesturday! cant wait for it to come!
I just ordered a Survive GSO 5 but I would have loved to have gotten the TNP edition GSO 5.1
Now that I've watched the video that really was a great vid. Maybe my favorite TNP video of all time! It's good to see him partner with another RUclipsr. I think that will bring viewers in to his and your channels! Excellent!
Blade HQ this pretty awesome you put the great nutnfancy to review this knife good collab!
I feel like hammering in a nail with a knife with the blade straight up is just stupid as hell. Might as well have the sheath on when doing that.
tell me how hiking with your dog tests a 3v knife . prying out a nail and opening up a can with a knife wow this must be the best knife ever thank you nutnfancy for showing us how to be tools in the woods
It was awesome to watch Nutn in this type of vid. Different from the usual style of TNP. PLEASE DO MORE REVIEWS WITH NUTNFANCY!
Im a PA boy so I already love the survivor knives but wow thats your best video & my favorite by far to day great job
man i want another 3V knife! glad to see allie in the vid, she's so awesome.
This video wasn't long enough, lol, you go Nutn ,always great to see your vids
Probably a good thing this video came out when it did. I jumped onto the website while watching this planning to make an impulse buy. Fortunately(?) I'm mid-way through my pay cycle and can't afford the knife right now. It's a good thing because I've got other priorities in my knife purchase plans.
Still, good knife test and great quality video.
Just finished the purchase of this one...thanks for the vid, looking forward to putting it to use!
Hell yeah, TNP! I LOVE HIM!
My life is complete now that I am number one poster! :)
That is utah and it was either big cottonwood canyon or little i can't remember off hand.
That looks like Tible fork, and hiking up trail 041(totally nice motorcycle single track), I don't know if 041 is even open after they worked on the dam.
The owl is on the shed !!! Long live TNP
Big fan of nutnfancy

Damn Nutn, this is one sharp vid. Great work.

Man, you guys rock these vids... awesome job in all regards!
Holy God! A NutnFancy review that isn't 2 hours long and that's just part 1...
Wow, Nutnfancy? Awesome!!! Great video guys.
Its cool to see nutn in a different pov
"that's like a Moses staff" : ) Nutn & Doodle are always saying off the wall stuff. Great video KnifeHQ. Good to see you hosting some great guests & fellow youtubers!
Need more of these vids, with nutn
Great to see you all team up with TNP. Looking fwd to see you all do more videos together in the future.
What a sweet knife!
Nutnfancy is still the best gear reviewer for me.
so bladehq dont ship to Australia. I bought it anyway, hope it gets here!
Snagged one. Great combo for blade HQ and Nutn.
Woah...It's crazy hearing Nutn on a good camera.
Hi, If I remember correctly, in the Southard video nutnfancy was complaining about the price being too high ONLY because the knife is overseas produced (in Taiwan) and not US made.
Great, great video!! TNPrs are watching!
I had to pay to get a knife custom made for bushcraft/survival, I’m glad I did. It’s really hard to find a ready-made bushcraft knife IME.
Love TNP! Would love to see more of Nutn on your channel!
Great Video guys , thanks and keep them coming .
Dang I really wish I had the extra coin to pick this up. Would love to have one. Sweet knife. And thanks to TNP.
Great vid and knife. Nutn is the man.

TNP for the win!

Please do not have any relations with that man, he is too full of himself, and would be the first one to day if he were in a real emergency scenario
Got an email today from Survive. My 5.1 is on the way. Oh yeah!
Great review and TNP profile!
Great video. Nutnfancy is the best. His haters are just jealous and wish they had a popular channel that pays for their gear.
Did you ever get your knife or refund?
@@ShoahBiz Yes, finally. Only after they received the complaint from the BBB and attorney general .
Nutnfancy cameo - COOL VID GUYS!
What an awesome knife can we order one, now that they are sold out?
Awesome! Very excited to see nutnfancy! Hasnt steered me wrong yet. Haters exist.
Very cool video, love it!
"suck less" bahahah! glad nutn snuck that in there.
TNP Nation!
Well played RealityStar ;-) Guys sometimes just find a reason to hate, whatevs!
Good work Paul

I really dig the music when he is making the fire.
Wow good vid, seems like a pretty nice knife too. Keep um coming.
NUTN sounds good when he has a proper mic with the camera.
NUMBER ONE!!!

I had to watch it twice. Lol...thanks guy
Survive! Knives are the best. I think Nutnfancy would prefer the GSO-10.
At 10+ minutes, shortest Nutnfancy video ever. ;-P
Is that silver lake?
Nutnbettertosay. Mall ninjas of America unite.
Great video guys! But there were parts where you could see the camera, mic or the video crew guy. I don't know if that was on purpose, but it takes some excitement out from the video. Kudos though.
The 20 dislkes of TNP are the OWS of the blade community.
I said I didn't have anything against him personally, and agree with a lot of what he says, I give credit where credit is due.
