I just got this car the new 2021 model with the new badge, what upgrades do you recommend getting? Was thinking about putting a exhaust on with a switch that has mild/ wild so you can change it anytime for cops, wanted the new racing chip forgot what brand but you get 30 more hp and 30 more torque just by installing it and swapping the modguls around, also was thinking of getting a blow of valve but I think that might be going to far it’s great for saving fuel eco mode doesn’t go above 2grand on the rpm and got bigger and longer clip on paddle shifters they just clip onto your original ones, Kia have come along way back in the day I wouldn’t even buy a Kia now they have caught up to the other big boys

So, I bought a 2022 GT, and the stock system is just a little too quite and I want to get a little extra uummff anyway. My question is, will this give off a check engine light? I want to buy a high flow cat and then slap this system on. This will be the first time for me doing any mods or upgrades to my car. Just don't want to spend over 1k and can't pass inspection. I read a little about welds being crap and having leaks, depending on the shop, and then there is also something about remapping the ecm, so I guess, what exactly I'd the process to ensuring everything is working?

This vehicle does not have the Smartbox fitted, although the Smartbox is a popular addition for Cerato Gt and Forte GT owners.

The diffuser is just the middle portion. The side fins are cheap plastic attachments.
