Diana is SOO pretty, like a Barbie doll in the good sense of the word. Flawless face and body.

For people saying that Harry is not an original cast member.
Here's the thing, there are three groups that can be considered original in glee, the original 5, the original New Directions and the original cast. The original 5 are the ones that did the first glee number, "sit down you're rockin' the boat" which are Rachel, Mercedes, Tina, Artie and Kurt, some consider Finn too because he ended up in New Directions by the end of the episode but he isn't because the originals are the one's who were there since the beginning, anyway, then there's the original new directions, which is everyone in season 1 that was in the glee club and then there's the original cast, which are all of the glee club plus matt, jane and jayma but mainly the glee club besides dijon, because he didn't continue on Glee, Heather, Harry and Naya weren't regulars till season 2 but all of them were in season 1 and continued throughout all of the seasons, so that's what we considered regulars, the people that were in season 1 and continued in season 2, so Harry IS an original.
The original 5- Rachel, Tina, Kurt, Mercedes and Artie.
Original Regionals Cast- Rachel, Tina, Kurt, Mercedes and Artie, Finn, Puck, Quinn, Mike, Brittany, Sanatana, etc. (it's hard to remember bc it's been a while since I watched the first season so...

The "Gleeks" are actually my most favorite fandom!
Especially when Cory passed away, I never felt so much help and understanding from people I don't know personally but we all knew what the other person was going through. I had the feeling I wasn't alone and I never thought that a fandom could let me feel this way. I will always be proud to be a Gleek! :)

My brother keeps telling me Glee's over, barely anyone watches Glee anymore. And yet I'm still here, a fellow Gleek from day one and I stand with loads of other Gleeks screaming that Glee will never be over!

This show honestly has helped me get through high school. I am so glad that glee was made around the time I was in middle school going to high school cause it has showed me so much.
I know! I love that Glee started at the beginning of my freshman year of high school, and I've been watching since the very beginning and I'm now almost done my freshman year of college.

glee is so inspiring and shows the true meaning of friendship and commitment and supporting your friends. It also showed me how to be the best version of myself and that other people's opinions upon you aren't important. It showed me that you can do anything in the world as long as you have a dream and want to pursue it.

I'm one of those high school kids who went through high school with them. I didn't even realize how deeply Glee was integrated into my life and my heart until Cory died. It feels so...personal.
Most of you wondering why Chord and Darren is not in it because they are not original on season one. Because both of them were on season two...

@may9950 I know I heard Heather doesn't like to do the interviews. Idk about Lea, Jane and Matt. Maybe they had to do something or who knows. Harry is background character dance from season 1-3....

may9950 Naya wasn't a regular until Season 2 either. For me, original cast are the people who were there for the first season, especially the first thirteen episodes because that was the original order from FOX. Anyone from Season 2 and on, I still consider them newbies. I LOVE new students in real life. xD Like yeah, I miss the graduating seniors a lot, but I get such a high excitement whenever I see new freshmen, and that's the same way I get when I watch Glee. In Season 2 I absolutely LOVED Sam, Sunshine, and Blaine. In Season 3 I loved Sugar, Rory, and Joe. In Season 4, I loved Brody, Marley, Kitty, Jake, and Ryder. In Season 5 I love Penny, Bree, Dani, and Elliot.
Glee was my fav show!! Why? Because Glee always taught me that you will always be loved accepted and embraced for who you are, despite your sex, sexuality, race, body etc. Glee is a show that shows us that we need to show our true colours and not be afraid to show them, BEAUTIFUL! LOVE THIS SHOW! Not only is it funny, beautiful and conveying, but it also helps some people with their daily struggles. Something other dramas don't have, FAV SHOW 4EVA!!!!

Amber said it perfectly. This show helped me get through high school. I was a freshman when 1x02 aired and I didn't find the show until the summer before Season 2. Freshman year I was just hopeless. I was at a new school, had no friends, no hobbies, I was ready to give up. Then I found the show, and connected to so many characters who told my life's story on television. Tina portrayed my shyness, Mercedes portrayed my insecurities, Artie portrayed my nerdness. By junior year, Rachel inspired me to join choir and theater, and Kurt inspired me to run for student government. Senior year came and I saw Marley get her second chance at high school, and saw Unique proudly overcome her struggles. All in all, I have to say I feel like I really grew up with Tina most of all. The shy stuttering freshmen, to the silent sophomore in the back, to the junior fighting for their chance at the best high school experience, to the senior fulfilling their potential. Well, unfortunately Tina was still stuck in the back for most of Season 4. :P

What Amber said was so true - a lot of us started watching this show when we were 12/13, and now we're 18 and about to graduate high school. We literally grew up with Glee. I can't thank the cast enough for everything they've done.
This just... Thank you. I am about to watch the episode and I cannot wait. Meeting Chris was a dream come true last year, and whilst I am gutted that I lost my tongue and couldn't tell him how much he has changed my life to his face, I am glad that I tried to, and have sent all the cast messages of thanks.
This is a great family, and one that I am so proud to be a part of.

Me too! I graduated high school in 2013 and I started to watch Glee in 10th grade. :) It's so cool to see your favorite characters start university life, just as you do in real life at the same time!

I consider Lea, Cory, Amber, Jenna, Kevin, Harry, Naya, Mark, Heather, Chris, Dianna, and Chord original members. Blaine is considered a part of the cast but not the actual glee club. They were all in Seasons 1-3 and those seasons will always have more meaning to me then 4-6 because that's when Glee was Glee! I love the show Glee and now that Cory has passed away, it has meaned even more to me now.

Glee came about five years too late for me. Not saying I don't appreciate it. I feel stunted relationship wise because I came out in my early 20's and I think I owe a lot of that to glee (coming out at all). I just wish I had it in high school.
I bet they were secretly thinking, "It's been squeezed dry, especially since our creator has been paying less attention to us and more attention to American Horror Story"

Just to clarify a few things because people are confused.
Original cast means those that were in SEASON ONE recurringly, not those who gained occupational status as a "regular" role. If you got a recurring role in season one then yes you were original because you were there FIRST and left your mark.
Original Cast: Amber, Lea, Jenna, Kevin, Chris, Harry, Dijon, Mark, Heather, Cory, Matt, Jane, Dianna and Naya.
Original ND: Amber, Lea, Jenna, Kevin, Chris and Cory.
Expanded ND (Season 1) Original 5 plus Mark, Dianna, Heather, Naya, Harry, and Dijon.
Those listed are ORIGINAL members, whether they were considered "a regular" has nothing to do with it. They were all there, you knew who they were regardless of how many lines they had. You remember them and that is what makes them Original.

Um, to be honest, I don't really think that Glee is for the fans anymore. Yeah, it's touched people's lives and stuff, but the show was not, as Kevin put it, "The Fan's show." Ryan, Brad and Ian clearly don't put in the effort to take int account what the fans want from the show. I have been a loyal Gleek from day one, but I'm starting to find watching Glee on Tuesdays more of a chore now because none of the episodes are that great. I think that if they looked to the fans for ideas on how to write and direct the episodes, they would be so much better. All of the incredible fans have some ideas for the show that would be perfect, but they don't listen to any of them. I feel that the show is less for us, and more for the money now...
Yeah I totally agree. A lot of faberry shippers especially always complain to RIB that they don't get what they ask for. I also found it annoying that it seems like they don't even remember or even care what they wrote in the past. For instance, after Quinn's accident, they didn't even go into the aftermath as much.
More selfish-greedy people. Wow. They can't pander to you all. You guys act like they are entitled to make every single fans wish come true, even the wishes that are extremely bizarre. I mean come on now, be a little grateful.

I think they mean that the show was meant to reach out to the audience to lead them to a better place. That's definitely why I love the show. Watch The Glee Project audition episodes, you see how thousands of people were affected by the same message. Honestly, giving in to fan requests is just a cause for disaster, because it's impossible to please everyone. For me, the show was ruined because the writers just feel the need to pair everyone up and give them relationship roadblocks, which to me just ruins the whole season and wastes so much time on stories that could still be inspirational and touching for real life outcasts who watch the show to learn how to rise up. I still relate to Glee, but not nearly as much as I did in Season 1. I totally agree that the writers should consider fan input though. Honestly, I think I could do a better job writing the Lima side. As a huge sophomore fan, I'm hugely disappointed with the lack of writer creativity there.
m13laball Thank you. This was exactly what I meant. Not that the whole show should be fan suggestions. Obviously that would be a disaster. I just think that they aren't really caring what content gets put in the show anymore. Seasons two and three were the best for me. I wish that they would go back to giving us all good life lessons and teaching us how to get through things.
