GREAT REVIEW! Good camera work, pans, transitions and (mostly) sharp focus (I'm a photographer so I notice these things). THANK YOU for pointing out the BAD way NOT to close the slide, by putting your hand over the front of the barrel. I've seen several videos where the person did this, and it's just not safe practice. All in all, you made a really good quality video, so praise where it's due. I just ordered one of these for under £190, to complement my Walther CP88 and the (heavy) Beretta 92FS, so looking forward to another heavy, realistic gun. Good work, I'll look out for any other of your reviews.

These are way good airpistols. Got the Walther CP88 Competition myself. Never were a big 1911 fan before - but nowadays I'd see myself buying one of these Umarex Colt Govt A1 1911s also..

@@AndrewSkipp I do got the Colt M45 CQBP Rail Gun. Umarex licensed BB 1911 that is manufactured by KWC in Taiwan. The same BB shooter is sold under many licenses. One awesome 1911 BB pistol. Also got an ASG ST1 Duty One (made in Japan) - but it is alike the Sig Sauer Spartan/Max Michel 1911 BB shooter that utilizes a stickmagazine. I prefer the KWC 1911s myself - as the Sig Sauer We The People - that also is just alike my Umarex Colt CQBP - but under another license and with mostly just external differences.
Think I prefer the look of the umarex special combat 1911, Both very nice though, just a tad pricey, I fancy the umarex Glock 17 gen 4 as well but it's £190-200 😅.

Nice one mate I just got the Beretta 92 FS in nickel with walnut grips and although new they're as much as £320 I got it for £150,I have just as much fun with it as I do my shotguns just because it's quiet and don't have to go to the countryside to use it hahaaaa.. I've always liked the 1911 but the trigger guard is awkward looking for me but the blinged up versions look amazing have you seen Donald trump's 1911's? Pure art is all I can say mate,have a Google at them👍🏻🇬🇧

this is a city pilgrim for sure,,,,not raised with guns or hunting or on the farm. Look at how many times he points the muzzle toward his own face!! hes an accident waiting to happen!!!! NO ONE should ever ever ever point a gun. loaded or not,,,at anything he doesnt want to shoot!!! Scary video for sure,,,,
You are right. Never point a gun at anything your not looking to shoot at. All I can say is that the gun was not loaded and was safe. Still your points have been taken on board and luckily i survived the whole thing.

I see gun safety is not an issue here, he swiped his face 3 times then held his palm over the barrel of a loaded pistol. This vid should be taken down. Terrible example to beginners.

That said I’m unaware that this has anything too do with gun safety. As to my hand over the barrel, I think I’m saying not to do this! I have no contact with the trigger and the gun safety is on. I will take your comments on board when making other videos though!
I’ve just reviewed the video as it’s been around two years since I made this one. I cover the barrel on TWO occasions in this video. Both times it’s to express NOT to do this when loading or operating the gun. Also if you look an the magazine (timeline 4.03) you will see clearly the gun is loaded with an empty magazine. This is also true for the closing summary too. I feel your gun safety comment is therefor a little unfair and unjustified. Thanks

Leslie, sorry but if you are considering doing more comments, I SUGGEST that you learn how to write a sentence properly. Ask someone else who is better than you at the English language, what your mistake was in the sentence above, if you can't see it. People in glass houses, etc.
