My May wedding was canceled because of the coronavirus. My fiancé and I decided to do a small elopement instead with just us and our parents, and I had to end up doing my own makeup. I'm so grateful I found your channel! I wear minimal makeup in general, and have never really taken the time to learn proper application techniques. I know you posted this a couple of years ago, but I followed it step by step, and I was super pleased with how it turned out! I didn't have any of the exact same products you used, but between what I already had and some new things I could find last minute that matched in description and color, I was able to duplicate the look pretty easily. I actually liked the end result better than my makeup trial with a professional makeup artist I did for the May wedding because it looked more natural, less caked on, and more glowy. And it lasted for hours - I only had to do one powder reapplication about 4 hours in. Can't wait to try some of your other looks. Thank you thank you thank you, Ali!

I have a question that may have been asked and answered many times. Before you baked the products, you applied couple of products on your cheek. After baking them, you contoured again. Will that hide the previous products applied? I just can't help wondering that. Andrea, you are a star! I had zero knowledge in make-up before and now, you will be so proud of me 😄 Baby steps though.

Could you give your expert advice on products and techniques on doing makeup for people with badly scarred skin like me. My cheeks are full of ice pick scars from teenage and getting makeup to look good is such a pain. There is hardly any video on RUclips on doing makeup on deep pitted acne scars. Kindly do a tutorial for all the girls who share my pain.

monica sendoeu It could be. But this foundation is made to be applied with the beauty blender and what I've noticed is that u need to use a bit more product. First when I've used it I didn't like it at all because in a few h I had no foundation on my nose and chin, but with the right primer and with the right amount of product it looks great and it lasts good too. ❤
Do you have any recommendations for anyone who has rosacea? My rosacea isn't very severe but I find myself having to use a lot of coverage to cover the red that ends up looking a little too cakey. I recently gave color correcting a try but I'm not really sure what the best way to use it is. What are your thoughts?
Victoria Gonzalez You could use color correcting but just a touch of green. I don't really like to use those which are too pigmented because at the end you will have a hard time covering the green! So I suggest to use just a touch of green and then try the Maybelline Matte and Poreless foundation with a beauty Blender, or Estee Lauder Double wear. Do not use a brush because u don't want the product underneath your foundation to move around. Hope it'll work.
The only thing that has covered my rosacea very well over the years and all day is using Bare Minerals, concealer on redness then foundation, first silicon primer though which helps the make up to last. I damp my stipling brush to press the powder, wait to dry then buff, I don't get the powdery look that way.
Victoria Gonzalez I suggest you try the IT Cosmetics bye bye redness cream. It is just a cream that you use a size of pea to neutralize the redness around your face. Try searching Stephanie Lange on youtube, she loves it too 😄

SFGiants Lady hello! Thank you so much! I honestly like to use the back of my hand but I am so used with it like that. It could get messy though. I'd say I use foundation about the size of a pea. If I need more, I add little by little. As we all know, products and especially foundations are very expensive and I don't wanna waste the product. 😘

I have a question that may have been asked and answered many times. Before you baked the products, you applied couple of products on your cheek. After baking them, you contoured again. Will that hide the previous products applied? I just can't help wondering that. Andrea, you are a star! I had zero knowledge in make-up before and now, you will be so proud of me 😄 Baby steps though.

monica sendoeu It could be. But this foundation is made to be applied with the beauty blender and what I've noticed is that u need to use a bit more product. First when I've used it I didn't like it at all because in a few h I had no foundation on my nose and chin, but with the right primer and with the right amount of product it looks great and it lasts good too. ❤

Do you have any recommendations for anyone who has rosacea? My rosacea isn't very severe but I find myself having to use a lot of coverage to cover the red that ends up looking a little too cakey. I recently gave color correcting a try but I'm not really sure what the best way to use it is. What are your thoughts?
Victoria Gonzalez You could use color correcting but just a touch of green. I don't really like to use those which are too pigmented because at the end you will have a hard time covering the green! So I suggest to use just a touch of green and then try the Maybelline Matte and Poreless foundation with a beauty Blender, or Estee Lauder Double wear. Do not use a brush because u don't want the product underneath your foundation to move around. Hope it'll work.
Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% from The Ordinary
The only thing that has covered my rosacea very well over the years and all day is using Bare Minerals, concealer on redness then foundation, first silicon primer though which helps the make up to last. I damp my stipling brush to press the powder, wait to dry then buff, I don't get the powdery look that way.

Victoria Gonzalez I suggest you try the IT Cosmetics bye bye redness cream. It is just a cream that you use a size of pea to neutralize the redness around your face. Try searching Stephanie Lange on youtube, she loves it too 😄

SFGiants Lady hello! Thank you so much! I honestly like to use the back of my hand but I am so used with it like that. It could get messy though. I'd say I use foundation about the size of a pea. If I need more, I add little by little. As we all know, products and especially foundations are very expensive and I don't wanna waste the product. 😘
