Can we talk about the evolution of Em? This guy has been able to tap into the manic, outlandish craziness that we fell in love with in the late 90's but completely sober. I'm really excited for this next chapter of possibly the best rap writer of all time.
This album is more playable. The hooks and vibe on this entire album is 🔥. If you don’t like his style of fast rapping the beats will lure you in, easily. This was actually proving he may be “old” but he still has a finger on the pulse.

Shawn job bud! My only critique though, is to include other rhyme schemes. Words that end in “-tion” or the same sound is considered kindergarten level. I think I saw an interview with Joyner where he teased rappers using that rhyme scheme for over 8 bars. What makes a great pen game is when you put unique sounds, or even multiple words when combined that can rhyme. A level after that comes the punch lines and double meanings.
