Maria is a goddesses she was meant to be a singer tbh i started listening to her in 2013 i did my research on her how she went through a lot some of her music was based on her life . I would give anything to meet In This Moment my sister and her boyfriend seen her live she was really good
I got to see them in July the first time they played it. I lucked out and got tickets to see them again later this year with avatar and ice nine kills.
Sucks they canceled and you didn't get to see them! They are amazing live and put on such an amazing show from beginning to end. I definitely will see them again every chance I get!
But dude it was kinda never meant to sound like a singular long scream, if you listen carefully to the studio track you'll notice that there are multiple screams happening at all times, like, some begin and some end at all points of the 28 second line😊
I guess I'm an old-school metalhead, King Diamond, Slayer Etc., but I am having real trouble understanding exactly what I am seeing. I'm also having trouble understanding what I am hearing. A metal band with dancers? I have watched about six of their videos and I cannot understand any of it. They are coming to Milwaukee next month and I'm thinking about seeing them but I am having serious trouble liking them. Just my honest opinion. Maybe somebody could enlighten me as to what I am missing about this band. I want to like them but I'm having trouble.
In this Moment is not only about the music but about their performances. I mean why just stand still playing instruments and singing when you can put on a theatrical performance to further entertain the fans who payed to see you and also give them a show they will never forget!
I'm a visual artist from Brazil. I can see that In This Moment manages to put visual and scenic elements in addition to music in its performances. Regarding the lyrics, I can see a lot about Carl Jung. Information about ID, EGO and SUPER EGO (Maybe this answers some of the symmetrical symbolism and or always 3 people (2 dancers, 1 vocal) on stage). This inspires me a lot. Sorry for my bad English.
Saw her two years ago. Her voice is amazing. All of this is 'synth'. No way is that concert her. Check her previous live performances. She is bloody AMAZING but this?? Not In this Moment
I was a fan. But I don't understand the direction that Maria went with performance art shows. Don't send me hate messages. If you love it great 👍 Enjoy.
Ok, legit asking here... fans feel free to answer... but what in the world is with her obsession with having stuff to lean on and/or being framed up like that? Is it a balance issue? Confidence in the hair flip? I mean... if it's just her signature thing, it's just kind of... eh. Iunno.

personally I think its a mix of needing balance whenever you scream and dance in outfits like this. I think its a combination of having to stabilize your body when you're using all your air to sing and dance while wearing an outfit that constricts your movement. That and the design probably fits their set and matches their aesthetic
@@corivelle Totally not arguing this, but it's not exactly common, ya know? Far as I can recall, she's the only one that does it. I'm not sure how exactly it fits their themes either... like what does a frame full of bungees add, exactly? 🤔
@@Jeffrey.Seelman See, I'm old-school like this too... same bands. They didn't appeal to me at first either. I even used to compare her voice to "instrumentalizing rubbing a balloon". Which takes talent, I guess...
Thank you for your honest reply Chris. So what made you change your mind about this band? I am just having trouble figuring them out. The lead singer kind of reminds me vocally of Otep. When I saw that they were coming to my city next month, I was intrigued and started to look up their videos on RUclips. But their videos seem wildly frenetic and I can't for the life of me understand what the message is in these videos. And I cannot understand a word that she is singing. Perhaps I should be looking at their vocals more clearly?@@chriswilson7211

I'm going to see them on November 9 at the Rave in Milwaukee for the 3rd time, the Rave is a great place to see them, Rock On!! In this Moment fans 🎉❤
We went to that show too
❤ I love her music this song is epic I love Marie Brink's 😂🎉❤
Good footage
Wow just wow. These shows are getting better and better
I can hear the spectator singing, and she screams so good in live concert, shes talented and has a strong voice.
Definitely one of the best concerts I have been to & would see them every chance I get!
The guitarists are amazing!!
Good job, sharp and good sound!
🌎🌊🌲🔥🌪 ❤️
Fuck I hope they come to Australia.
always love you, bye........ ❣️🧜🏻♀️
I was somewhere in front of you! Awesome fuckin show
Really? That's awesome!! Great fuckin show indeed from beginning to end!!
I got to see them in July the first time they played it. I lucked out and got tickets to see them again later this year with avatar and ice nine kills.
@josephfrechette9916 that's awesome!! I wanna see ice nine kills but haven't got a chance to yet
@@josergarcia279 there tour is already on sale. But they seem to be hitting small venues. The one I'm seeing them in only has 5k seats.
@josephfrechette9916 I saw that, unfortunately, they aren't coming anywhere near my area
Hell yeah. I was supposed to see them at Knotfest last year, but they cancelled. We got less than half the show we paid for :(

@@josergarcia279 Jinjer was supposed to be there too. But then the whole Russian Ukrainian war started, and they went back to tour there.
little did i know, the beginning was a spoilier for the new song godmode (when i first watched this the song hadent came out yet)
I'll make my own rrules once i took the holy ones with me❤
what did you say?
sanchez? lala?
christina?
Knew that 28 second scream from the video wasn't one long scream lol love Maria's vision and imagination have never seen them live though.
yeah maria like takes a quick breather and continues, just in the video she cut it out to make it seem so, (at least what i think)
But dude it was kinda never meant to sound like a singular long scream, if you listen carefully to the studio track you'll notice that there are multiple screams happening at all times, like, some begin and some end at all points of the 28 second line😊
Would be great if you could hear Maria brinks over the person in the background singing
Yeah, how dare someone in the crowd - who paid to be there - actually enjoy themselves at the cost of your RUclips experience....🙄🙄

everyone has their own thing, personally I like the performance of it all and like the theatrics but its not for everyone

@starclearinternational-jef7673 They're a very theatrical band, I do find the theatrics a bonus to the experience, besides the overall good sound.

I love King Diamond, but sometimes we need to go beyond the obvious, it's not always in front of our eyes...

Can't keep Maria in a box... As per this performance

Too much fog, I wanna see and hear the artist but she kills it every time

Most boring live band ever, 7 songs as a headliner, ridiculous we rather see music than wardrobe changes, absolutely ridiculous
