    I’m in the market for an iron and really needed a checklist of things to be aware of before purchasing. I’ve only had a few sales experiences like this where the sales person steps through the problems, potential solutions, and trade offs of all of the products on offer.     Very informative thanks. My Philips iron does not have a temperature control, it somehow detects the fabric you are ironing and adjusts the temperature accordingly. You can also leave it facedown unattended and it won’t burn the fabric underneath (it doesn’t switch off)

      @@anthonybotonis5841 I've had mine over three years now. Overall, very pleased, it does a good job on anything I've ironed. Cons are it is a bit on the heavy side and warm up time is a little slow.

    Thank you for the in-depth search and sharing .. would u consider doing Dyson fans are they worth buying ? Heard the air blower isn’t great .. thank you

      They are good and better than a normal heating or cooling fan but people are under the impression that it will cool the room down which isn't the case.

    Morphy richards so far it's a reasonable iron by price & has better features slight weighted but does the job quick

    I have the russel hobbs ultra powerglide and hve no idea why within 4 years its randomly broken n i hardly iron
