Oh, Caroline Forbes, sweetie. You really thought being a vampire would make you less annoying? But no, you just became the most annoying person in the room with even more energy than before! You're like an over-caffeinated puppy on a sugar rush-constantly bouncing around, pretending to be the moral authority when you're just one dramatic eye roll away from another meltdown.... Caroline was a fun novelty that really wore out after season 2. She was someone who had zero boundaries when it came to serving her own needs but judged the hell out of everyone else’s every decision.
I actually really liked her in the beginning because they didn’t take her righteous personality so seriously. She was more like comic relief. But then somewhere along the lines we were supposed to empathize with her and accept her arrogance as some kind of voice of reason.
Nah.
Her feelings for Stefan only made sense to me in that he was one of the only males to never show her any romantic interest and she needed to have a guy desire her to feel validated. Especially if the guy once had feelings for Elena. How dare they not have feelings for her too!
