When Katherine starts singing at 1:42 I get legit goosebumps. She's my favorite mezzo-soprano. I don't think I've ever seen her look more beautiful. She sounds great with Rolando and Andrea.

I prefer Andrea vocal sound over Villazon sound. But that is just personal preference. They are both amazing tenors. I do love Andrea calm power. Something to be said for having the ability to envoke such emotions without over the top dramatizations. And I love the ease of Katherine's voice. Bravo to all three..
Let's be honest. Bocelli is a fine singer but the reason he is better heard lies in his closeness to the mic. He is almost "eating" it while Rolando is some 30-40 centimeters away. Another point is that each time he sings with a real opera tenor he seems to feel the need to show off in that he throws in extra high notes like here with the C#.
Andrea Bocelli as usual, perfect on those high notes. He stops only because his colleagues have run out of air already, but if it was for him, he would continue going on and on.
I am not a fan of Villazon, but I have to be fair, we all know the Bocelli uses special mics to match his voice, and if Villazon ( dramatic tenor) had done that last note like Bocelli did, it wouldnt sound good cause we wouldnt be able to hear anyone besides him. Dramatic tenors have very strong voice, lets not forget about it.

Bad move for Bocelli singing next to a proper tenor, even swallowing the microphone he is simply out classed and voiced .
