- This customer got energy independence for Christmas! This completely EMP hardened system had to be placed outside, which made for some interesting challenges on the job.

I'm always amazed at the quality work you do. I know it's expensive to have the best but wow, the joy of knowing you can be off grid for decades without worry has to be rewarding.
Hey!! Thanks for all the cool videos!! The EMP batteries is called CFE here by us in South Africa. I have sold a few and clients are super happy!
Sol-Ark here is Deye/Sunsynk. Great inverters😀😀
A bunch of pro's gettin it done 🫡
I think it's just adorable that you think this system is EMP hard.
I really love your videos. Thank you for making them easy to understand. I would like to see a follow-up video of this installation once it’s all complete. I don’t understand how you’re going to make ice. Please explain that. Obviously you’re gonna dump access PV generated power into a air conditioning, compressor somehow, and freeze water but I would like to see this. Thank you keep your good work going on. And for you to travel five hours out of your area, proves how committed you are.
Omg, bugs in the battery box, dirt dobber wasps will pack that thing full of dirt clods, recluse spiders, scorpions, oh wait maybe that was only my bad luck!
Merry Christmas from Australia 🇦🇺
yolo hope everyone is doing great
SCOTT, ANOTHER GREAT INFORMATIVE PROJECT 👍 👍 !
Merry CHRIST-mas to you & your team!
Beautiful installation work. I would have loved to see the entire process in full detail but having done a few videos myself I know how that can handicap the progress.
Nice job. Have you thought about getting a trencher? I've seen an attachment for a skid steer.
Hope y'all had a Merry Christmas.
Wish I had $100K to spend on a solar system.
😂
It will be nice when the wireless version comes online and wires and conduit isn’t needed to distribute the power
Finally some details vs here we are , now we're done, goodbye.
Much much much better music. Thank you.
Why do you trench with a mini instead of a ditch witch? Seems like a lot of extra work.
Great video. Have you ever used the concrete ballast method to set the Sky Rack posts? What is your opinion using that method instead of setting the posts in the ground?
Thanks
They make us add meters on the load side of the inverter in Arizona when you have batteries.
Future taxation on your self use.
@@trophyfishn9757exactly what I thought, why do they want to know your own battery load usage???
@@everydaycarry1328- The answer to why the government does something is… money, power, control or all 3.
That's an awesome array. Have you done any large arrays that needed to be broken into smaller arrays due to terrain?
Nice work, wonder why the customer never wanted to enclosed the gear straight up
I bought a few 280ah 160v ess modules and converted them to 840ah 51.2v with 300am out continuous and 3 bluetooth jbd smart bms'. Im keeping one and selling other 2 for 200.00 a kwh. Brand new never cycled catl 280ah cells. Also ip67 👌
I'm not following the extra meter base. What is it in between?
Was that Chris Gray on site with you Scott?
Nice job looks good I’m just wondering how you got a smart load panel to be EMP protected like your 15 K inverter
By smart load panel I just mean a breaker panel that's going to distribute power to two different loads. It's not the solark smart load panel that is full of relays and printed circuit boards.
EMP proof batteries ?
Yeah. He kinda glossed right over that comment. Didn’t he? Would’ve liked him to explain that.
Do you have an account on Rumble where I can watch these videos?
Question on those ESP batteries. You said they are EMP proof. I thought any Lithium Iron Phosphate battery has a BMS. That in itself is not EMP proof.
The system I installed: 2-12K Solarks (I bought from you) that are EMP proof inverters, 2 arrays with 40 PVs each at 310W per PV (80) but settled with AGM 215Ah batteries was my way to get around the vulnerability of batteries with BMSs that are not EMP proof. Has it something to do with the cabinets (Faraday cage)?
Thanks.
Do you have any experience with 48vdc mini splits I know deye makes one?
They want to know how much they use to make sure they are not stealing it and claiming the solar made it.
how much was this?
😎
In my opinion, not putting the electronics inside protected from the weather is a mistake and the equipment will succumb to the weather !
Oh I agree. This is my first outdoor installation of a mechanical room and I was reluctant to do it. The customer understands that it is actually framing in a couple of walls and a ceiling to help protect the equipment. Without moving that HVAC condensing unit out of that space, there's no way to totally enclose it.
The meter is there 2 c how much the energy companies r loosing. 😅
My wife and I love your channel but you have to learn not to keep swinging the camera around from right to left. After a couple of minutes we give up watching as we both feel nauseous.
😂
Ditto. Amazing content but the camera work needs a rethink.
Man.. how do you all afford this land and all this stuff? Do you guys run company's and make millions or something? I would kill to have an acre or so of land with trees, area to build septic, well and solar.. dont even need a large home.. 4bedroom, 3bath.. one room for home theater, one for office/gaming, two rooms for sleeping.. workable kitchen.. that's all. Ideally in an area where there are no right wing nut jobs and left wing nut jobs.. hate political crap. I don't think a place exists like that any more.
