Great idea, but color would fade from washing the shirt a few times. I thought about decorator pillows :)

Hi Nathan. Thanks again for all your help. I've learned a great deal from you and appreciate the detailed instructions. I was just curious as to why you don't use the adjustments panel in photo shop.
Preference. I hate using a mouse; I use keyboard shortcuts constantly.
Thanks Nathan. Very helpful indeed! I use the first method fairly regularly, but selecting white and black points in the second example is so much more accurate. Sometimes you have more than one type of lighting in a shot, fluorescent and incandescent and it can be really tricky if it is too dark to switch one of them off. Perhaps this will help in those cases?
Gray card is the better way to go, but in case you didn't use one, then one of the fallbacks here.

I noticed with my flash that when I use a grey card there is some times a 400 kelvin difference with the flash shot and the flash shot with a grey card. Is that an acceptable variation or is it best to grey card every room that has a new color scheme?

Nice! Tried the 2nd method on an image with wonky color and it worked great. Is this method only for balancing a single image? When I send my RAW to PS for editing then save to send back to Lightroom it becomes a TIF and the white balance temp and tint is set to 0. So it looks like there is no way to apply this white balance to other images in LR, unless I'm missing something... I will definitely be getting a gray card. Thanks for the video.

I have a calibrite colorchecker, would that be good for setting WB? Should it be used with the ambient shot or flash shot?
I'm not a fan of the color checkers as they take too long onsite, but moreover, they only sample light/color from a small segment of the room. The totality of a space is what needs to be considered in WB adjustments for REP.
