I hope this helps. I tried adding the item itself but it would just give an error message so if you go to the individual site and type in the name of the mould it should pop right up. I'm sorry for the extra steps.
That metal piece, your daughter told you to get, reminds me of a thing that I have, it was actually a top to an old metal turtle that my mom had, it was so cute. I can’t find the bottom part now, but I’m sure it’s here somewhere. I wouldn’t change it from being a turtle, if I do find the base, because it was really a cute piece. Your piece reminded me of that. I don’t know if it was intended to be a turtle, or if someone just took tow pieces and married them together, but the “shell” of the turtle had two parts sticking out along the sides that went into the rest of the turtle shape bottom, and you turned it slightly and it locked. Now I want to find it. 😂
Now I wish that it was a turtle and that all the pieces would have been there (sadly nothing else was) because I would have loved to put it in my garden.
I think it looks great.You need to quit second-guessing yourself it looks great.When you came up with once you get it painted.It's gonna blend it's gonna be nice
I would have left them black with white trim. Why does everybody want to use the black or dark wax ? I just don't get it. Why not make some different for people who want to see it different ?
I use the antiquing wax because that’s the look I like. Since I was making these for my own home, I made them to fit into my home's decor. I don't want to waste paint and time to repaint something that I was making for myself. My video was to show what could be made from these items. How you finish them is totally up to you. I appreciate you watching.
