lol Amorim was not denying the rumors. He was just saying to chill out.
Yeah, he probably won't be saying this when the season is over.
Exactly.
Amorim gave a very diplomatic answer, he isn’t going to speak on rumors when he is in a title race right now.
I rate De Zerbi but just don’t think he’d be a good fit at Liverpool. Amorim seems most likely still.
agreed, i read that while fans enjoy the results, they view him as very cold manager and there been rumors about players moaning about repetitious training in Antonio Conte style.
Lijnders could be a good choice. I know, lack of track record at a big club. But a Klopp's assistant knows how to run the system, formation, knows the players and their strengths. So you'd have Klopp number 2 perhaps (if things go well). And named PEP!
Arteta is a good example
@@teidorhalariblahBut he wasn't a no 2 at Arsenal.
Amorim has to say things like this to the media they are chasing another domestic cup and chasing the league so he’s not gonna be like yh I’m leaving this that and the other as that’s just being disruptive to his squad etc but I see him joining Liverpool come end of the season
Why not, Klopp did
@@xeriklKlopp did what?
Brighton have dropped off massively the last few months. Take a chance on Amorim! Plays exciting expansive football and I feel he will have an impact on Nunez and Diaz.
Brighton is in 9th place. 9 pts away from Potter's highest point total. that's after losing Bissouma, Cucurella, Trossard, MacAllister, Caicedo..
..their most promising player Mitoma .. has been injured and likely out for the season.
this is a team on a relegation budget..
half of their team is injured 💀
🤔Amorim might not even want Diaz and Nunez on his team or any of the key players for that matter, why? Because it’s basically a fresh start he’s going to get players he deems suitable for his system.
Putting De Zerbi in front of LFC will give the same result as putting Potter in front of Chelsea.
They are totally different
De Zerbi’s football is on a different level to Potter. It’s still a risk but he would be genuinely exciting
Whats shaka on about? Bayern are far more ruthless with managers than Liverpool by far!
He is saying currently Bayern are in shambles and a coach cannot be expected to have immediate impact as opposed to Liverpool who are performing well this season if you go there and Liverpool lose first game of the season already you will be crucified
People like Alonso and De Zerbi would be a huge shift in footballing philosophy. Amorims football is stylistically very similar to Klopps system. If he has the charisma and character I'd say he's the best choice.
Braindead scum like you need to shut up about charisma
@@SecretPaintsWhy? Klopp had it in spades. It's not always necessary, but the best managers do tend to have it.
What's Mario on about every Liverpool manager ever has had time except Roy Hodgson because everyone knew that weren't going to get better!
De Zerbi is a journey man. He doesn't want to settle in one country. He has already said he wants to coach in England Germany Spain and one day back in Italy
The heck is that green screen background? Looks like an up market sports shop.
Focus on the board m8
It's Amorim for sure. He didn't deny anything.
Give Pep the contract already. I am sure most players wanted him too!
I think I can speak for most of us….we do!
No, plus pep said he is leaving
You shouldn't expect a manager like Almorim to talk too much like De Zerbi. His agents are doing the talking for him to avoid distraction from his title chase in the Portuguese League.
Luis Garcia might be alright to replace Klopp
Thomas Frank
Being SCP fan I think is impossible to keep this coach for more one season even if he wins de Portuguese league and the cup.
Now if he goes to Liverpool or Man United I don't know but certain the Premier League is waiting for him, and one of the five important teams is where he goes.
Whoever they bring in means they have to reset and experience turnovers of managers again due to pressure.just promote existing staff
He has been amazing , as a fan of sporting cp i will miss him
Mario is underrated here.. Good opinion
Everyone hanging on to this list… What do the bookies know?
I throw some hats into the ring:
How about Gareth Southgate? Sam Allarydce? Tony Pulis? Neil Warnock?!
Please take them back out😅😅😅😅
I just don't see De Zerbi being a good fit, not really sure why but I just don't see it.
But Klopp and Guardiola regard him highly as a tactician. The only thing that may let him down is his personality, it's not exuberant and charismatic enough for a Liverpool used to Klopp and Amorim edges him in this regard.
If you’re a football fan and you need a charismatic manager you are a fucking simpleton! It’s about results you mug! I don’t want some fucking lovable clown, I want trophies god you people are idiots!
@@fromthefountofyouth obviously they won't criticise him publicly
@@firstgenerationbillionaireBut they didn't have to say those nice things about him. It's not like they're duty bound to do that.
@@fromthefountofyouth bro they were asked by journalists about their opinions so they showed sportsmanship
Frank turned into an angel with a wring on his head
lol Ornstein came out today and said it wasn’t going to be de zerbi yet these people can’t get off the name. Especially Frank who doesn’t seem to know what’s going on with Liverpool.
Shaka hislop thinks a manager will be given more time at bayern then at Liverpool. Go have a look at bayerns track record with manager. Absolute nonsense from hislop
Agreed lol
That is normally the case. However at THIS particular point in time. I think he's right.
Bayern definitely have form but after getting rid of Nagelsmann prematurely and Tuchel only staying for one season, then the next manager will be given a bit more time. It'll look bad on them if the next mgr is another short term appointment.
Liverpool want to maintain their success. They don't want to hire someone who'll take them out of the top four. They don't want THAT kind of transition. So right now the next Liverpool mgr will be given less time.
Hansi Flick, Nagelsmann and Tuchel seem like good options for me. All three of them have managed big clubs, had success and play in more or less the same style of play.
Lol, no they dont' (play similar style)..
I think Amorim is the best choice. He doesn't have too much baggage, which is a good thing. Those calling for Nagelsmann, Flick or Tuchel are just falling into the same trap that Man Utd did with David Moyes. Employing a compatriot doesn't mean they'll be as sucessful.
Amorim, Nagelsman, and De Zerbi, in that order of preference
Yep 100% agreed . I actually think Nagelsmann is being slightly underrated although I'd still prefer Amorim ...just .
De Zerbi already been ruled out, either one of those 2
He is just playing down the rumours if he jumps on the hype train of being Liverpools next manager his players mentality will be affected and he is just 4 points ahead of a benfica side that are extraordinary this season
Pep Ljinders has said 10 times he does not want the job!
They should go for Ange
when frank says 'you dont know if the players are going to like the new manager or not' it makes you wonder why not give pep llindger the job as we already know the players love him
Cause pep said he's leaving bruh
@@mfromspaceBut even if he wasn't, no 2's rarely make a successful transition to manager. In Liverpool's past this has happened, but that was a different era.
Pep Lijnders!!!! Give him the gig already.
Pep manages City..
1 year deal with Milner as 2nd...Maybe Alonso summer 2025.
@@biteme8535Stop it!would you?
Pep lijinders all day! He already knows how the team works, he'll only get better. He's a safe bet
It will lit if Liverpool could bring Diego Simon
Imagine players like Robbo...allowed to practice the dark arts.
None of these guys in the list should be appointed as they are not proven winners yet. Although they are considered top rated, they may not be ready to manage such a big club like Liverpool. Experience is definitely what is needed most especially in the champions league. For this reason, isn't it better to appoint someone who is a proven winner as well as abundent european experience. Two names come into my mind...Zidane and Hansi Flick. These two are really top top rated managers and will move Liverpool to new levels.
Not Zidane. Flick......mmmm nah.
Man Utd rushed the process of finding the right managers those shoes have been very hard to fill
Thiago Motta's contract is out in July 2024.....he did not extend his contract with Bologna.....😶🌫️
He will go to Barcelona
Frank's talking nonsense comparing Utd to Arsenal. It's over a decade since SAF and they're still looking for a decent successor. Arteta is leading Arsenal to two title challenges in a row only after they got rid of Emery who succeeded Wenger.
definitely think southgate would make a fantastic replacement..
harry maguire's mother is top in line to replace klopp
Pep Lijnders the best option...
Did he say ol’ red nose was an immediate success at United? 😂
Why is tuchel not being monitored for the role??
You having a laugh?
Steve Nichols will be new Liverpool coach 😅
Big pat on the back from me to Mario for actually pronouncing Doms name correctly. One of the things in life that bugs me the most is 99% of football pundits, RUclipsrs and radio presenters all pronouncing his name wrong 😂
Why not inzaghi from inter Milan?
His a perfect fit but unlikely to leave inter as he is expected to sign a new contract in a couple of days or weeks.
Such hype. Klopp got to Europa League final in his first year, which bought him time. Liverpool fans do not expect them to stay “top of top”. If whoever is the new manager shows capability, honesty and the right trajectory, we’ll give him time
Far too much misplaced hype in this piece. Luis Garcia clearly doesn’t know SOS
Is there any reason why Xavi Hernandez isn't being linked to the vacant job?
because hes only had one job so far and it didnt go well.
@@NeilLewis77 it isn't going badly though. He won the league, they are still in the Champs League, they could possibly win both this year, and all that considering the financial issues they have and what I consider to be a bad president in charge of the club.
@@biggdogg6196 So he can infest Anfield with tiki taka?
@@fromthefountofyouth if the board wants him, and they might not have a choice of anyone better or more high-profile
@@biggdogg6196 if it isn't going badly then why has he announcement hes leaving half way through the season?
Wow these guys really want de zerbi to get the lfc job
Hologram Paisley or the Spirit of Shankly
This is just my opinion, but I would like to see Thomas Frank to have a go here at Liverpool. To me Frank at Brentford is like when Klopp was at Mainz. Both low level teams who got promoted and both with a minimal budget and not that great of a squad but still getting results and causing big teams a lot of trouble.
I reckon if you give Frank this Liverpool squad he could do amazing things here.
Blud wants liverpool to fail fake fan
I like thomas frank but no
"Have a go", I think 'Pool are looking for a bit more than that.
Tuchel? What are people smoking?
Give chance to pep lindjers to manage
Liverpool will not give you time ?
Think he's talking about Chelsea
Really Luis, Kenny didn't connect? The greatest British manager of all-time, three-times European Cup winning Bob Paisley, didn't connect? Poppycock!
Poppycock.....heard my late Grandpa said that once in a while while he was working in the garden
Pep Lijnders
i think gerrard
Got to let Pep Lijnders step in as a manager!
But Pep manager of City
@@biteme8535You're not a fan!so i appreciate your ignorance.
@@Gem2141 you're too stupid to understand the irony here
I say this again,
The only person who can continue what current Liverpool team is no one but Pep Lijnders.
Why the board FSG so stubborn by ignoring that fact?
By doing so, they make Pep seems as an outcast.
My theory has proven correct - Xabi is not joining because he after RefVardrid, and because he feels intimidated to re-create what Klopp has done.
He may join in the future - after 5 years minimum.
Especially if whoever replaces Klopp fails. It can be one or two coaches.
So the fans can see Xabi as 'the saviour' without emphasizing Klopp legacy - which also ease the pressure for him.
While Amorim, he will take a season in 🏴 PL to get better.
Not to mention his team - assistant, data analist, GK coach etc.
By then Arsenal will be ahead.
Furthermore, City obliterated Sporting under Amorim 4 goals within 40 minutes in CL.
I'm not sure he's the guy.
De Zerbi, maybe...
But truly mate, pep realized that FSG already distanced themsleves with him.
That's why in the special interview, he had no choice to say, "I only go for the club who really wants me."
That's the signal.
Why is FSG so ignorant like that?
It's the Bootroom, for Christ sake!
Can data & metric show who can better the mentality, the mood, the atmosphere, the method, the training, the strategy, the style of play of Jurgen Klopp???
No!
Just give Pep a chance!
He knows the team in & out.
He's the one who asked Klopp to change the play, or told him "it's for the subs".
Like Barca gave to Guardiola who was nobody when he replaced Rijkaard who was a CL winner.
Be wise FSG!
This is a warning to you.
One more thing, I encourage data about Pep Lijnders when he led the team when Klopp was not there be revealed.
Then we can see objectively how he reminds us all about Bob Paisley.
YNWA!
Calm down crybaby, „Ref Vardrid“🤣🤣 just because they own you as a club
Liverpool have had successful no 2s in the past, but that was a different era. I don't think it'd work today.
i hope its pep
Why no one is giving a chance to Pep Linjders???
He ruled himself out noting that it was agreed that Klopp and his entire backroom staff would leave with him
@@andrewtugume he wouldn't want to leave if he's offered the head coach role
They must just keep pep
@@d7adicthe said he's loyal to klopp
He’s off to Ajax doesn’t
I like amorim I hope we get him if it's not him they should go for nagelsmann I know its not possible especially when he's managing Germany for the euros
I bet you none of them get the job
Why is klopp leaving?
It's gotta be Ange... He's admitted he's a Liverpool fan, seasoned and experienced to handled the Anfield pressure + pressure of following in Klopp's footstep
Lol that'll never happen and should never happen
De Zerbi is NOT the answer, please no! He is hot headed and irritating. If you cannot replace with a similar character give it to Pep Lijnders. Don't rock a boat that doesn't need change!
No one wants to be the 'David Moyes'
Or Unai Emery, it's a poisoned chalice.
our asistent maneger will be better
Marcelo Alberto Bielsa
Pep lynderz is right man 4 liverpool direction
It turned out to be none of the above.
I would have pep lijnders
joachim lo
Just bring de z and give him time

Pep for me... YNWA 👊
Thiago motta??
He didn't deny anything. It will be him. Hire fewer idiots.
You guys are making a mountain out of a mole hill again. De Zerbi is the man. Signed and sealed.
Mourinho should take the job
I’m hoping Klopp talks to Alonso and he agrees to take over next season and Klopp stay one more year
🧐Yeah that’s not going to happen.
Klopp will be replacing Klopp .just wait
I believe Klopp will be getting the Real Madrid job for 25-26 season.
He hate Super League...why would he work for the brainchild of SL?
He openly criticized SL😂😂😂
Southgate.
Klopp successor not replacement plz
Dan saying like arteta won everything nd successful like Wenger but in reality arteta spend lot won nothing other den media praising.
FA Cup.
@@dumfriesspearhead7398 because of FA Cup he is comparable to Wenger ? Just calculate years and spending so many others won lot in less time nd in less spending
@@anilbodar9394 You wrote that he "won nothing". That is not strictly true, hence I responded with: "FA Cup".
I didn't mention Wenger because right now of course their records aren't comparable.
