Love the temple concept, one of my favorites along with the rusty truck penjing. These two ideas have been very inspirational in me reconsidering what kind of artistic style I want to bring to my projects instead of just having a "tree in a pot". God Bless.

Hi Nigel, could you I ask you to put the videos about the same tree you made over time into playlists? I’d love, for example, to see the development of this tree from its inception until now ❤ pretty please?

The tree surely has its charm. The structure looks much improved after today's (harder than expected) pruning!

Just love the progress on this tree. With the fine ramification getting better, it would look beautiful defoliated.

Pistachia Chinensis, Chinese Pistache is a very popular ornamental where I live for it's fall colors. It's related to Sumac. The good and bad thing is, it's germination rate is so high and you can easily get too much of them. It's like collecting quartz - you can't get enough of even the most common thing if its so pretty! I definitely have enough of this tree, but almost everywhere I find the seedlings is somewhere where they aren't supposed to grow such as in cracks in the pavement or in garden beds! And now I find them sprouting all over my yard for some reason LOL!

I guess you get a good hand workout. Lol

Being in South Florida means I need to know how to do ficus bonsai and you are really helping. I don't know where you are you sound like you have a Midwest United States accent like from Minnesota or Wisconsin?

When you spray your trees with insecticide soap do you need to rinse them off? I haven’t been washing the soap off mine
