Love the temple concept, one of my favorites along with the rusty truck penjing. These two ideas have been very inspirational in me reconsidering what kind of artistic style I want to bring to my projects instead of just having a "tree in a pot". God Bless.
Hi Nigel, could you I ask you to put the videos about the same tree you made over time into playlists? I’d love, for example, to see the development of this tree from its inception until now ❤ pretty please?
happy to see this tree finally back on track. it had some rough years. It was always one of my favorites out of your colletion. You did a great job nigel.
Thanks so much. I have a Tiger bark Ficus for many years "40" and need to work on it. I have watched your channel for a while now and I have learned so much.
Pistachia Chinensis, Chinese Pistache is a very popular ornamental where I live for it's fall colors. It's related to Sumac. The good and bad thing is, it's germination rate is so high and you can easily get too much of them. It's like collecting quartz - you can't get enough of even the most common thing if its so pretty! I definitely have enough of this tree, but almost everywhere I find the seedlings is somewhere where they aren't supposed to grow such as in cracks in the pavement or in garden beds! And now I find them sprouting all over my yard for some reason LOL!
Being in South Florida means I need to know how to do ficus bonsai and you are really helping. I don't know where you are you sound like you have a Midwest United States accent like from Minnesota or Wisconsin?

Canada! A much better version of our Midwest if I say so myself. A beautiful, beautiful country and beautiful people.
Great prune! This ficus looks so lush and healthy, It will push new growth quickly!
Nice work on this one, and glad to see the tree getting back on track again 😀
The tree surely has its charm. The structure looks much improved after today's (harder than expected) pruning!
Just love the progress on this tree. With the fine ramification getting better, it would look beautiful defoliated.

Hi from the U.K.
Hello there!
I'm surprised you don't have one of the pump sprayers.
I guess you get a good hand workout. Lol

He lives in Ontario, Canada.
i think the canopy can go lower, like half the present canopy height, and spread horizontal all ard, for balance
❤
When you spray your trees with insecticide soap do you need to rinse them off? I haven’t been washing the soap off mine
Who don't know what blue scissors means in bonsai world 🌏 he miss a lot 😆😄
Lol, thanks!!
