Hello Arumba, I wish you the best of luck in completing the BBB achivments, I know it's tough. To everyone else who thinks there has been mistakes or thinks he's pausing to much or thinks he's doing things off. It's his game at the end of the day. Let him try what he wants. You ever know things can work out. So stop being so negative!
I tried for the BBB, and I was lucky enough to have Austria rivaled when it fell under a union with Milan. I stole the union, but the STUPID "Liege is a historical rival +50 independence desire" made me pull my hair out.
Arumba, you'll never get BBB. It's already what, the third or forth time you try this achievement, but you still get caught up in Europa. It's fun alright, but I lost my confidence in you getting this achievement this year. Maybe next one...:))
might give picardy only if he seige it since he claimed it, other than that... nah. only good that can come out of the war is if he kills the king and inherit the land. but i gues it will end with a horrible peace deal from provance.
maybe there is something good at last burgundy is a war against england to. but he should asap declare on england when there is an good oportunity to combat.
Me too, god the constant pauses drag this out way too much, yes it's a detail-oriented achievement but he pauses on the smallest of things no wonder this 60-ingame-years series takes ~80 episodes of 30 minutes each
Restart. Too many mistakes have been made already. Try a new strategy. Above anything else, don't try to get naval superiority over England. You won't need it to get a 99% warscore peace.
Reconquest on Maine. By 11 december, there are plenty of games where England just has Portugal as an ally. Hope Portugal has picked up the alliance with Castille. If you can, call in either Castille or Burgundy on promises of land. If Burgundy joins, give them calais, if Castille joins, screw them over. Ignore England at the start, build up to forcelimit and march down to portugal to seperate peace them out. Your forts will delay England long enough. Seperate peace Portugal out, take Porto and break alliances with England and Castille. Move back and kick England out. Have everything sieged. If no Irish minor is in the war, you just need patience for England to accept a 99% peacedeal due to war exhaustion, ticking warscore and length. If there is an Irish minor, it's possible to avoid the English navy and land 8k troops in Ireland, especially if the English navy is busy shipping troops to the continent. Move your fleet at 11 november to Bearn by the way. Once you stackwipe the Irish minor and stand on his capital, he is willing to peace out. You should be done before 1450.
You expect him to go for a time sensitive achievement, which he has already failed to get multiple times, without "pausing so often"? Yeah I don't think so.
If you are looking for a fast-paced EU4 experience...this isn't the place. Arumba takes things slow, gets caught up in the details, and gives indepth commentary on his reasoning for doing things.
I smell restart

What is your strategy for getting 99% warscore without naval superiority (and landing troops on english land)?

That rock music seems seriously misplaced in a strategy game taking part in the 1400's.

Admiral Alpaca Done.
Can you please not pause so often

Yeah I don't think so.
