Please the back are we going to use d front pattern to get d back adding 2 inches for zipper allowance or we cut d back septerately by folding into 2

Hi, thanks for your support. for the zipper allowance, you are not going to use the front to get the back, because there's some manipulation at the centre back on the waistline, the zipper line is not going to be straight, is going to be curved, but at the end of sewing, you are going to get a perfect fit. To slash and spread, you slash both the back and the front separately. Hope I've answered your question watch the sewing tutorial of the mermaid skirt on my channel.

I got lost at minite 9 32, i dont know what you did on the top. What measurements did you re do? Not sure if you added 1 inch or more. Can you please explain. I also got lost at the measurements you were putting in the knee line. Got so confusing for me. Ty

She removed 1.5 from the hip which is 11 inches to get 9.5....is the same as removing 6 inches from the hip seconfrence and divid by 4 to get your knee round.

Thank you.No,l didn't divide the knee by 4,what l did was to minus,1.5 from the hip measurement, and mark on the knee and also on the hemline.
If you are confused,then just minus 6 inches from your round hip circumference,and divide by 4 and place it on the knee.hope you are clear with my explanation?❣️
