So they become amish by choice nothing wrong with that and people thinking the amish are not living right on rules they should change their minds and mind their business. Personally amish way of life is better than the world life. The world is rotten and currupt all ways things you cant find in amish. A very upright sobor minded community.

I never really discussed with them on the size of their farms. But I took a look at a website that said it ranges around 40 to 80 acres on average in Illinois. I don’t know if that’s true also in places such as Pennsylvania.

You’re correct, it’s all by choice, this is not a cult type of situation. I’ve known amish and are nice and friendly people in general,
