    I’ve heard that many times and various other vocals and have a lot of them recorded. About five weeks ago they came into my camp and did the barred owl thing. They stayed above my head where my tent lacks mesh, so I couldn’t see them. Earlier that afternoon I had an over twenty minute back and forth with what I presume was a juvenile. We had fun. I’ve camped out six times so far this year at several locations and heard them every time. They always know where I’m at.

      I’d like to get your opinion on Ep. 002 where I had coyote calls behind the house for hours. I think they may have called in a second group of real coyotes but hard to tell. Definitely not coyote like behavior in my opinion.

      @@bigfootaudiohighway Yes, definitely. I have a friend whose wife called to him, only to find out she didn’t. They can and do mimic everything. I’ve even heard the gate of a pickup close when I was sure there was no one around. I believe the vocals in this posting are them.

      @@bigfootaudiohighway I believe these are Sasquatch imitating coyote. Look my name up and I have a recording of coyote and barred owls calling, with the barred owls in the background (adults) and the juvenile in the foreground imitating coyote. Then, they all switch places. I don’t think coyote and barred owls do that.

    Query #1 At the end of first call and after second call yes it's a poorly done owl mimicking call. Query #2 Not sure if that is what other people are reporting. That did not sound anything like the one screaming at the camp ground here in Ohio. Maybe the volume...but not even the duration could match our call, scream, whatever it was. The shortest was 20 seconds and most was 40 sec. to over a minute long. It started like a baby crying that morphed into a woman screaming BLOODY murder like her arms was being pulled from her body.....no shite....several times. My wife and the friends we was camping with thought it was too far away and was probably a bobcat, cougar, exotic pet. Went to our separate trailers to bed down when started again...baby crying, woman screaming, then added jungle cat that morph into lion roar that morphed into bear roar and finally to what my wife and i can only describe as a mix of King Kong and Godzilla roar. ALL in ONE continuous roar....with NO breaks or pauses for air. Freaked the whole camp grounds out. Then it came closer to camp ground and started roar with King Kong/ Godzilla to a bear to a lion to a jungle cat snarl to a woman screaming to a baby crying......again ALL in one breathe. Well everybody was outside and my buddie and me joined a small group at the edge of the road closest to lake with shot guns in one hand and spotlights in the other. A guy walked pass us calling out " it's a freakin' banshee." Then it started again across the lake. Baby crying - woman screaming - jungle cat snarl - bears roar - King Kong/ Godzilla roar. Man it sounded like a bulldozer was going through those woods...we spotlighted and tracked it progress from the noise, but all we could see was trees, bushes swaying wildly and green leaves flying around. You could FEEL the scream/ roar in your body. The lone lady in our little group started repeating "what are we going to do? " I was 17/18 yrs old and had a shotgun.....my thinking was to walk down the road to meet this thing when it came out the woods on the other side of lake. My older buddie spoke up and said "we are out of here " and walked back to trailer. Well he was our ride and we was 50 or 60 miles from home. More than half of the campers left that nite at 1 or 2am. What normally took 3 to 5 minutes to leave camp ground took us 20 -30 minutes to leave cause of all the cars of people. This happen summer of 1983 at a camp ground 20 to 30 miles outside Wilmington, Ohio. Full encounter is on the Dixie crypted, Buckeye Bigfoot, and Bigfoot case files/ Bigfoot project with Lynn Smyth. The duration and FEELING these roars in your body is something I will NEVER forget.

      Wow! Amazing encounter, thank you for sharing. You caught one coming through in a pretty pissed off mood. I think most of the time if they’re hunting or moving through an area covertly they’ll keep in contact with each other by mimicking natural wildlife common to an area. I’ve heard that from many people.

      Hi, per description the video here is from a different time just visuals while you listen. I assure you all the audio is from the woods during overnight hours. If you mean this call sounds man made then you may be saying it is a mimic? Also, the mic is on a tripod in the house so you may hear the air conditioner or furnace exhaust.

      Did you notice sticks breaking on the forest floor at the same time? This lends credence of something walking through at the same time as these owl calls. Therefore, it’s either an owl warning of danger walking through or the call is from the walker mimicking this high pitch call. More people are stating that BF will mimic anything and thus data may support that theory.

      @bigfootaudiohighway  Месяц назад +2

      Hi @joshuamoses1631 if you listen closely the owl is breaking sticks on the forest floor. Obviously something else could be out there too so which one is making the owl call? Could it be possible that BF relay their position to others via owl calls? I've heard others talk about it. I think there's much we don't yet know if you've listened to the thousands of eyewitness accounts out there. I'm not saying everything is a BF, that's for sure, but listeners don't yet understand all of the weird stuff that does go on out there. Many trees and branches coming down on quiet nights (or pushed), strange branches woven around other trees, many instances of a branch thrashed or hit against something else. Interesting stuff and it could be why they are so elusive because we haven't opened our minds to these things.
