I don't drive. I'm afraid to drive, and it's because of things like this. I'm afraid of A being on the road at the wrong time, and ending up in a collision because of someone like this dude. Or B not paying attention to the road myself because either I got too comfortable with driving, or I have so much anxiety from being on the road that I can barely focus. And I end up being the cause of a very serious wreckage. It's a constant fear of mine. And with things like this happening. Along with people not being cautious, and thinking getting behind the wheel is as simple as walking down the street. I don't know if I'll ever overcome that fear.
I also have a slight fear of getting into a car wreck but I usually just trust in God in take me on a route that is safe.
I DO drive and got my permit at 16, but didn’t really drive until 18 because I was afraid to. Same reason, I don’t trust other people being idiots and driving recklessly. Where I live you pretty much have to be able to drive to get anywhere, plus now I enjoy driving. I’m just always cautious of others. If I could drive with no one else on the road, that would be the perfect scenario 😂
Trust God, you have the wheels and he has the road prepared for you, I believe you can overcome it ❤

And as a quick note, something I learned recently from Driver’s Education is that when you are dealing with HYDROPLANING, never, and I mean NEVER apply the brakes. They make the loss of control WAY worse. Simply try and regain control of direction, while slowly decreasing speed, as well as increasing following distance from other cars. You can only apply brakes once you regain full control of the vehicle. Stay safe people…

I let my brother borrow my car so he can go to work. I didn't know how irresponsible he drives, even in a car that's not his. It was raining and apparently he didn't know what hydroplaning was and continued to drive well within 100 miles an hour. He tried turning but hydroplaned and crashed. Safe to say I never lent him my car since.

I’m 19 and I’m a 23 grad I grew up the old ways I grew up like I was living in the 80s and 90s and I was taught if u want something u work for it and that’s what I did growing up and now that I’m working and having things to pay all I see are these kids who are driving cameros, mustangs, hellcats, new trucks with rims and I told my friend these kids have it ez rn but when they get older they gonna realize mommy and daddy ain’t gonna keep buying them stuff or giving them money
