Love your videos brother. One thing I learned my lesson on is cheap cut off wheels (and whole face masks when using them). Almost got my face chewed up. Luckily it got caught up in my sweater, minor injuries.
Thanks mang! Yes high quality cut off wheels are a must for sure. Always on alert using cut off wheels, I can't wear a face shield myself always fog it up and would rather be able to see what I'm doing lol.
Great video, like your editing software . Sent you a video on my truck build to your e- mail hope you have time to watch it , you inspired me to bag my 95 Hardbody and I will be purchasing parts from you. Really enjoy your videos 👍
Hey Jake, do you happen to remember your center measurement for the axle? My 65 f100 doesn't have any rear suspension or axle in it (purchased that way). Think I found center, but figured I'd ask. Thanks
I love how Lowner's looking already! "Dialed In & Nice & Square To The World!" scrapingpavement shirt idea? JUST SAYING!! By the way it's pronounced 'sagitta', not sagitta (hope that clears it up for you)
Looking good 👍 you inspired me with all the purple crush videos to build my own project! And I've been waiting in anticipation for this build to start rolling along, it's a great body style I'm not a Ford guy but those trucks look good layed out... Thank you for the inspiration over the years, all your videos and time you put into doing them really does motivate!! Keep on Truckin!! ✌
Glad to see you working on a personal project again ! Awesome video ! I assume you are going to be doing a ifs front of some sort . Is it going to be something of your design ? Great videos as always . Wish i could better explain what im doing in my videos . Lol
Thanks Chris! Yep IFS up front, will be custom design as far as hinge points ect and then use components from another car. Most likely Mustang spindles, rack and pinion.. Haha I still feel like I ramble and don't convey as much as I want to, words are hard.
@@scrapingpavement nice !! I figures it was gonna be your design on crossmember and the adapt for being bagged suspension and make or adapt control arms . You do a great job at explaining
So excited to see you making videos like this again!! Keep up the good work! How do you determine mid travel of suspension while leaf strings are still on?
Thanks for sticking around! I based it off how much travel I will get out of the suspension, so in this case a larger bag on the link bar will give me 10" of total travel. So I'm designing everything at 5" half travel with a 29" tall tire. If you were to do a bag on axle setup you're looking at 7 - 8" total travel, so a 3.5" - 4" mid travel.
@@scrapingpavement hell I would buy them if you would cut them don't even have to weld them just cut and ship looking for a front frame section now to change front suspension
I would take a set, just cut and shipped out. I can weld them up. I have the exact same truck so I want identical to what you cut. Let me know if I can purchase a set.
The build is looking good ..best part is how far you have come..I have followed you from the beginning .
Thanks for coming along the journey!!
Great job Jake, always enjoy seeing you work!
Thanks pete!

Definitely going to lay out nice love the notch. Where did you get those clamps? Brand?
Thanks Frank! Clamps are from harbor frieght, can't live without them.
Do you plan on selling these notches on your site I have a 59 f100 looking for bag parts
Not too sure yet, if theres enough interest I definitely will.
