Understanding the Pitot Static System | How is Airspeed, Altitude and Vertical Speed Calculated? |

Hi. In this video we look at what is a Pitot Static System; How they are installed in an aircraft; and What pressure they provide?
We see the uses of Pitot Tube and Static Ports.
We also look at the different forms of Air Pressure such as the Static Air Pressure, Dynamic Pressure and the Total Air Pressure. We see how these pressure values are used to calculate airspeed, altitude and the vertical speed.

hello. I would like to know if the speeds, heights, etc. are given in meters, kilometers/h, knots.
I have a formula to convert kilometers per hour to knots, nautical. How do I convert from kilometers to knots and vice versa from the speed of an airplane. How do I convert the height to meters and vice versa.
