    You are absolutely right. I live next to some folks that own a small farm and have never ventured farther than their yard. Blows my mind. I'm like yall not only do I know every pothole in my yard I know every pothole in yours

    Learning where animals walk or sleep is good...they often find sheltered warm places to sleepand they will generally walk the easiest grade.
    I am researching where aborigonal people camped and its very similar. Being out in nature 90% of the time can teach alot of things...learn the importance of wind, how sound travels....how easy it is to be spotted on a ridgeline...
