The state is not independent of the people, but neither is the will of the people enshrined in the whims of any random resident. The will of the people is embodied in the state constitution, and the laws passed by the duly elected legislature and people appointed by said laws. The police aren't enforcing their whims either; they are enforcing a policy drafted by the elected chief and (very likely) reviewed by the state attorney appointed by the aforementioned processes. They want to be little petty dictators. It would be scary if they had any power at all. It's funny because they don't.

Nope. The facility has a No Recording policy as they have sensitive and confidential information. Since he violated building policy, he was told to leave countless times by employees and management.
He was also told he could file his foia request but continued to argue with the cops. This is what happens when you fafo.
