Well they’re all different in the different years. Make a difference I like the 90s blues Dwville‘s and of course the mid 60s twins and Alexis are awesome that Michael Landau fender amp is great sometimes 6l6 s can be kind of tubby sounding, but in general, I love the fender clean sound
@@allenhindsguitar thanks for the reply....love the 90s DeVilles too... do you find it hard to get a good drive tone with pedal through a good Twin? I think most pedals are voiced for a dark amp tone...which makes it difficult to combine with a nice Fender clean tone. I guess that's why Holdsworth and Eric Johnson use differents amps for that....
Always love Allen’s playing, and very interested in this amp, but it looks like its being miked through the Bob Burt cab, which I would think would add a lot of depth. Not many open back cabs would sound like this. Makesvme wonder if I would rather just get the head and separate closed back cab. Henry, can you comment on this, even though it’s a 2 year old video?
I know that feeling Allen, make's you wanna play .
It's nice to see you have found your niche ,25 years in.
You sound great to my ears ,enjoy
How do you feel about the several classic Fender amp? Twin, Super, Blues DeVille, Hot Rod.... and so on 😊

Hey Allen, are those the Virgil Arlo pickups you're using in this demo? Thanks!
