37 years ago tomorrow I had a 26 week premature baby boy. Yes, he was in a premier hospital but their abilities were very limited in 1982 and this baby boy had lung issues. As I held him at 12 days old close to me on Valentine's Day, his tiny heart stopped. The trained nurses got his heart going again and then later it happened again. Doctors contemplated on removing half of his left lung as it was over inflating and stopping his heart. At 2# 3 oz.they would not be able to use anesthesia. I was in horror! All I could do was stay up all night long in the half done nursery in our home and pray. After hours of pleading, the Lord helped me to realize that this little guy wasn't supposed to be conceived in the first place. 100% infertile the doctors said. Surprise! So then the Lord brought peace to my heart as I realized God had no intentions of taking this little guy away from me. The next day these neonatal specialists decided to try a simple procedure that no one had ever done before. They blocked the left lung and let the right do all the work along with a respirator for 3 weeks. And so this little baby's story was in the medical books because it was successful. I knew Who got the glory! Now 37 years later, this baby not only has a college degree but he is a wonderful son, husband and father all because God heard the cries of a terrified mother who then knew God would save her baby. There are miracles.
Thank you, I have disabled children, I cannot fight the enemy we have now, let alone the one that is coming. I have no option but to trust in God. I am reliant upon on a miracle.

Thank you Pastor JD . I needed your teaching tonight on standing in faith & trusting God for what looks impossible to me. I don't ask for more "stuff" - that's just something else to dust. My heart yearns to see my children come back to the Lord. They were raised in church. Often I was their (Sunday School or VBS) teacher over their young years. Now they are grown and going their own way with no thought or time for God in their busy lives. That breaks my heart.

I love to listen to J.D. Farag and I realize this was 4 yesr ago, but now 4 years later it certainly looks as though this war is about to take place. The reason I believe this is because these nations fit the ones coming against Israel today. And I also find it interesting that these are not the same nations mentioned in the Ezekiel 38 and 39 war. I wonder why? I myself would have agreed with this message 4 year ago, but I have changed my mind. More of the puzzle has come together.

I needed the assurance that God comes in for the save when there is no hope. I have been slammed with expenses just when I was preparing to visit my son and his beautiful family. It has actually reached a point that normal would be abnormal. Any way through all of this would be a miracle. No, not mismanagement just retired on a small pension with repairs and a large vet bill. I am going to remember, "Watch Me now!" I will meditate on 2 Chronicles 20 very carefully.

Thanks Pastor JD. Even if the Psalm was about 2nd Chronicles 20 in Jehosophat's day, the psalm was still prophetic since Asaph was a contemporary of David, many years before King Jehosophat was born. I can see how it was fulfilled in 1948, 1967, and 1972. However we will just have to see if there is still an upcoming later fulfillment too.

I'm a pre wrath pre tribulation believer brother Jd Farag but I have a question that's been on my mind today what is the last day referred to in john6 vs 54 ? And I ask because post tribulation believers are saying that it can't happen until the last day because Jesus is saying this himself in this scripture . John 6:54 (KJV) Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. What does Jesus mean by last day ?
Given what is happening now, it seems this Psalm is a filling to fulfilling (cup overflowing) repeating prophecy which culminates with a coordinated, cooperative attack by all of her surrounding enemies as seems to be playing out now. Perhaps it will merge into Ezekiel 38 as the Lord intervenes in both circumstances to rescue Israel “So that they (Israel and the world) may know that you whose name alone is the Lord is the most high over all the earth” (verse 15,16)
Pastor..this is good analysis and confirms my own studies of Psalm 83...it was fulfilled but sets up the next prophecy to be fulfilled. At this point in History Psalm 83 should almost be looked at as a Political reality based on what they tried to do militarily in the past. Also, i agree with what you loosely said about God taking those who are watching and waiting and preparing their hearts and lives forna Pre Trib Rapture versus those who are dogmatic about Post Trib. it would make sense that He would leave behind those who prepared to go through the Trib because they will see that the Pre Trib people were right and they will be part of the Trib saints as they lead others to Christ...as history and prophecy has many levels and repeats itself, i wouldn't discount that God removes them before the Great Trib as well...2 Raptures...sounds crazy but it makes God even more just and fair and will bring the most people into the Kingdom in the end. This way the Pre Trib, Mid Trib/pre wrath Trib were all correct..it was just fulfilled in stages. With God, all things are possible. I dont see a Post Trib being right at all...makes no sense in the big picture even though some scripture alludes to it being a possibility.
Dear Brother Farag, I love your great non-dogmatic attitude in sharing light (good info) regarding Scripture, especially the impossible situation of 2 Chron 20. Amen! Please consider another view. I think you are right that it’s historic, but the New English Bible says, “what is to come has been already, and God summons each event back in its turn,” Eccl 3:15.
A good example of this is the victory of Alexander over the Medes & Persians in Dan 8:20,21 but Gabriel says the vision is “at the time of the end” vs 17. So it's again with Iraq & Iran.
I believe the end-times will have a repeat of many passages and lets come now to Ps 83 also seen in Zech 14:1-3 where “all nations” (neighboring like you said) are gathered against Jerusalem which is taken, but THEN God will fight against them in verse 3.
But the context is “the day of the Lord”--the end-time period signaled in 2015 by half a dozen events including “the sun shall be darkened, the moon turned to blood before (paniym--facing) the day of the Lord” Joel 2:31. “The day of the Lord comes as a thief when they say Peace & safety, (Iran Nuke Treaty) “When you see abomination standing where it ought not…flee” Gay union, Supr eme Crt Also the pope standing where he ought not, in the US Congress, and the following day, he was standing where he ought not, in the United Nations. When Cestius was standing where he ought not, it was 3 1/2 years later when Titus came. This spring is 3 1/2 years and we should expect Zech 14:1,2 for those in Jerusalem who haven’t accepted the words of Yahshua as the early believers did when they fled. “Then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations,” Zech 14:3. Cleansing both ways. I believe God is in a box--He has to do according to His Word, but it’s complex, and there’s more. I enjoyed you--I think you would enjoy a video at Total Health. Yes, I have read this and other passages, 1. It's several nations mentioned here , 2. It is a prayer. Yes God can answer this prayer any time, and not necessarily related to 1 Chronicals 20 per say. But mention is that they wish to eradicate the name of Israel and they build a confederacy. So, God doesn't reveal when exactly these nations do this, so then it is a Prayer and also phrophetic, why else would God have allowed this detail as it is revelant today? So we should give bible teachers the benefit of the doubt!

I'm in the camp that believes Ps 83 has not been fulfilled for 3 reasons: 1. The Lord has not resumed his program with Israel. This won't happen until after the Rapture. Yes, his hand is always working in human affairs, and this psalm may have multiple, partial prophetic fulfillments, but the final fulfillment is yet future. It will not take place until the Days of Awe when the Lord deals with the 10 horns of Daniel and Revelation. Not all 10 horns have ever been dealt with and judged at the same time. This will happen under Seal 7. 2. Count the number of people groups in the Psalm. There are 10. I don't believe in coincidences. And, look at the last verse of Zechariah: The historical enemy has mingled and polluted many people over the ages, including these 10. The original 10 toes show up in Genesis in God's land when God makes his covenant with Abraham. Count them. 3. The Magog Alliance is different from the 10 toes. Both will be destroyed during the 10 Days of Awe. And then all will know who the Lord is when he destroys both. It's the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord.
PS The 'battle' in Ps 83 is a shadow of the Feast of Trumpets, which will occur on the 1st day of the Ten Days of Awe. Gideon was a type of the Lord. So was Jericho and Joshua, respectively. What happened to Jericho will happen to Damascus. The raptured saints will participate.

I needed the assurance that God comes in for the save when there is no hope. I have been slammed with expenses just when I was preparing to visit my son and his beautiful family. It has actually reached a point that normal would be abnormal. Any way through all of this would be a miracle. No, not mismanagement just retired on a small pension with repairs and a large vet bill. I am going to remember, "Watch Me now!" I will meditate on 2 Chronicles 20 very carefully.

Thanks Pastor JD. Even if the Psalm was about 2nd Chronicles 20 in Jehosophat's day, the psalm was still prophetic since Asaph was a contemporary of David, many years before King Jehosophat was born. I can see how it was fulfilled in 1948, 1967, and 1972. However we will just have to see if there is still an upcoming later fulfillment too.

I agree with you that the pre-trib doctrine is not a salvation changer. I’ve been saying that because I don’t think we should let differences about the timing of the Rapture should divide us as Christians.
I'm a pre wrath pre tribulation believer brother Jd Farag but I have a question that's been on my mind today what is the last day referred to in john6 vs 54 ? And I ask because post tribulation believers are saying that it can't happen until the last day because Jesus is saying this himself in this scripture .
John 6:54 (KJV) Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
What does Jesus mean by last day ?
Given what is happening now, it seems this Psalm is a filling to fulfilling (cup overflowing) repeating prophecy which culminates with a coordinated, cooperative attack by all of her surrounding enemies as seems to be playing out now. Perhaps it will merge into Ezekiel 38 as the Lord intervenes in both circumstances to rescue Israel “So that they (Israel and the world) may know that you whose name alone is the Lord is the most high over all the earth” (verse 15,16)
Pastor..this is good analysis and confirms my own studies of Psalm 83...it was fulfilled but sets up the next prophecy to be fulfilled. At this point in History Psalm 83 should almost be looked at as a Political reality based on what they tried to do militarily in the past. Also, i agree with what you loosely said about God taking those who are watching and waiting and preparing their hearts and lives forna Pre Trib Rapture versus those who are dogmatic about Post Trib. it would make sense that He would leave behind those who prepared to go through the Trib because they will see that the Pre Trib people were right and they will be part of the Trib saints as they lead others to Christ...as history and prophecy has many levels and repeats itself, i wouldn't discount that God removes them before the Great Trib as well...2 Raptures...sounds crazy but it makes God even more just and fair and will bring the most people into the Kingdom in the end. This way the Pre Trib, Mid Trib/pre wrath Trib were all correct..it was just fulfilled in stages. With God, all things are possible. I dont see a Post Trib being right at all...makes no sense in the big picture even though some scripture alludes to it being a possibility.

Please consider another view. I think you are right that it’s historic, but the New English Bible says, “what is to come has been already, and God summons each event back in its turn,” Eccl 3:15.
A good example of this is the victory of Alexander over the Medes & Persians in Dan 8:20,21 but Gabriel says the vision is “at the time of the end” vs 17.
So it's again with Iraq & Iran.
I believe the end-times will have a repeat of many passages and lets come now to Ps 83
also seen in Zech 14:1-3 where “all nations” (neighboring like you said) are gathered against Jerusalem which is taken, but THEN God will fight against them in verse 3.
But the context is “the day of the Lord”--the end-time period signaled in 2015 by half a dozen events including “the sun shall be darkened, the moon turned to blood before (paniym--facing) the day of the Lord” Joel 2:31.

Some say that Psalm 83 is still to come. If that is true, I wonder where it comes in the Bible timeline.
Yes, I have read this and other passages, 1. It's several nations mentioned here , 2. It is a prayer. Yes God can answer this prayer any time, and not necessarily related to 1 Chronicals 20 per say. But mention is that they wish to eradicate the name of Israel and they build a confederacy. So, God doesn't reveal when exactly these nations do this, so then it is a Prayer and also phrophetic, why else would God have allowed this detail as it is revelant today? So we should give bible teachers the benefit of the doubt!

I'm in the camp that believes Ps 83 has not been fulfilled for 3 reasons:
1. The Lord has not resumed his program with Israel. This won't happen until after the Rapture. Yes, his hand is always working in human affairs, and this psalm may have multiple, partial prophetic fulfillments, but the final fulfillment is yet future. It will not take place until the Days of Awe when the Lord deals with the 10 horns of Daniel and Revelation. Not all 10 horns have ever been dealt with and judged at the same time. This will happen under Seal 7.
2. Count the number of people groups in the Psalm. There are 10. I don't believe in coincidences. And, look at the last verse of Zechariah: The historical enemy has mingled and polluted many people over the ages, including these 10. The original 10 toes show up in Genesis in God's land when God makes his covenant with Abraham. Count them.
3. The Magog Alliance is different from the 10 toes. Both will be destroyed during the 10 Days of Awe. And then all will know who the Lord is when he destroys both. It's the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord.
PS The 'battle' in Ps 83 is a shadow of the Feast of Trumpets, which will occur on the 1st day of the Ten Days of Awe. Gideon was a type of the Lord. So was Jericho and Joshua, respectively. What happened to Jericho will happen to Damascus. The raptured saints will participate.
