The biggest takeaway for me is that none of the parks names will be changing. I’m glad we won’t be losing the Knott’s Berry Farm name.
Now they just need to release details how this will affect passes lol. I’m guessing the current All Parks Add On will probably be adjusted next year.

The first no brainier thing from this merger: Looney Tunes at CGA
Leveraging Cedar Fair’s success to get Six Flags some love. But yet the budget disappeared on the nice proposed Theater at Knotts (Cedar Fair) 🧐
8:00 EBITDA is an accounting term meaning, "earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, amortization". Basically, it's a fancy way of saying we're going to improve gross sales by 80 million in 3 years.
I hope they’re able to bring IPs like Conjuring, and Saw to Knotts scary farm since their maze quality is way better than fright fest. I can also see them retheming the boardwalk area to a DC are and just renaming the rides there to DC characters. Looney Tunes may be hard to bring in because they serve the same purpose as Peanuts just being the parks kids area
I think out of all the parks, the Peanuts should stay as the Main Mascots for Knott's, in contrast both Great Americas should stay with Looney Tunes (CGA might get them back)

Bring the IPS magic mountain has had them already but at Knotts keep most original houses just maybe one IP per year to bring in the bigger crowds
That is actually a very fair merger basically you are under us with a lot of benefits and you get to keep your stuff and split the profits
It’s about to get wild with high inflation ticket prices and slow production on up coming future rides to some small parks.

Maybe now Knott's Berry farm can finish the refurbishment of camp Snoopy with all the extra money from six flags
Knotts needs more rides. I hate being done with good rides by 2 or 3pm and while i like reriding. It would be great to have at least 2 or 3 new rides to have at least done all the good rides by 4 or 5pm
I really hope that Knott’s Scary Farm doesn’t bring in IP mazes. In the early to mid 2000’s, Scary Farm experimented with IP mazes and they were honestly hit or miss at best. We have enough IP houses already at HHN Hollywood that I’d prefer Knott’s to stick to original concepts to set themselves apart from HHN and FrightFest. FrightFest should make IP mazes their thing.
TBF Knott’s Berry Farm as a whole shouldn’t change a thing. It’s an iconic park with over 100 years of history, to add more IPs (apart of the Peanuts) would make the park feel cheap and take away the rustic charm that it has.

I live in Sacramento (since 1995) and there was talk of having a small version of KFB in Old Sacramento, well it has not happened yet. Plus, we have a huge vacant railyard that they were talking about possibly bringing a major sport complex there too, again nothing yet. If the money is there and this merger is true, maybe it will finally happen (highly unlikely though). BTW how about *Yosemite Sam* in Calico, and Bugs Bunny as the protagonist (there are several old school cartoons with both of them in the Old West). 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I don’t think they are going to mix their characters knotts has their characters and lay out great and six flags has theirs. I think what your going to see is six flags become more immersive like knotts is with characters around the park kind of what they started with the heroes and villains experience for DC. I think that’s awesome to help bring back more customers to six flags and raise the six flags brand to a higher tier than it is now.
I like how the merger basically merged logos... the font of cedar fair eith the name six flags... rven more fitting how cedar fair had a flag in some parks logos.
I know we arent getitng name changew but i better not see six flags slap their name infornt of knotts berry farm cuz that just look sounds terrible
Lets hope they don't think about sacrificing the Peanuts, in favor of more DC and Looney Tunes at the once owned Cedar Fair parks, in the future.

I can see Knotts expanding the wild water wilderness land out to the parking lot behind mystery lodge, then rebrand that whole land to a looney toons themed land. In addition I can see the boardwalk area being rebranded to a DC universe themed land, remove coast rider, scrambler, the gliders, coasters eatery, and expand boardwalk into the roaring 20s area giving enough room for 2 or more major attractions.
I think for now six flags is going to get most the work and major things done because they need it that’s why I feel like knotts camp snoopy got somethings cut like you said
They need to build the six flags parks up to a standard so they can justify a certain price point is why I think this
Wonder if the reason fright fest might be getting so much investment is because they want all the parks that don’t have an iconic name like scary farm for cedar fair to be fright fest with IPs and all that stuff I feel like because of this knotts might not get IPs this year but next year
I hope I’m wrong and they give scary farm and ip would be best way especially because it’s would be the first event of the joint company technically
