Please be aware, this the the last of the three matches Wang CQ played that day, two others were double's matches, and he won them all.
Wang was great as everyone expected. But you have to give credit to Dang Qiu for playing incredibly well and tough giving Wang some real threats. This was the best game Dang played recently and should be enough against any other top players except Wang. What an exciting match!
Dang’s signature shot has been his FH down the line which is a risky shot

WCQ played unbelievable good, is just another level, he will be the next GOAT, what really scary is, he has still potential to improve.
Dang Qiu played really well. Best opponent Chuqin had this tournament, but Chuqin is just on another level than anyone else at the moment.

Good to see DQ using more forehand shots. The penhold forehand if played well is incredibly hard to read which direction it goes, down the line, cross court or middle. Even WCQ agreed as he signaled the penhold grip after a down the line winner shot by DQ. Do not rely too much on RPB, I know it is a fancy shot but quite useless against more powerful players and left handers. Win more points with the forehand kill not RPB alone. That will tip the scale against shakehanders.
Can commentators please not reveal the results of other games? A lot of us don't watch the Live and when they reveal the winners of other games there's no excitement to watch those clips.

Great match, great commentary, great video. But why always the winner in the thumbnail?
It could be the best chance for DQ, Wang played 3 matches in the day and very tired but DQ didn't have confidence.
Dang's backhand was only his weakness!!

Adam is right, Qiu in mandarin is pronounced as Chow.
He called him Dang Qiu correctly. You can check with a Chinese text to speech using his Chinese name 邱党. Although, in Chinese convention, he should be called Qiu Dang (last name first, just like Wang chu qin). Adam has always been very good at pronouncing Chinese players name.

"Pushing the envelope on the service toss" is equivalent to saying, how much can I get away with whilst I cheat the service rules?
Both players are some of the worst service cheats that I've ever seen!
This is because ITTF does not enforce their rules correctly. The best way to enforce rules is to use machines to check, not an umpire.
@@xonx209 Good point. ITTF employed a machine beginning the 2019 season, but I didn't see it much after that.
