The best part of this update is that you said things that may make one cringe. The transparency and honesty only makes me believe in Cardano even more. I have no doubt your team and approach will create the gold standard in crypto and be a major contribution to this global revolution.

I noticed two issues with daedalus. One is when starting the wallet, the loading can take a while for a slow computer. This is ok. However, daedalus should load a screen first to inform the user the program started. Otherwise people may mistaken that the program failed to start. The second issue is when syncing the block, if the network connection is disconnected for a certain time period, the sync stops even when the network resumes. One needs to restart the daedalus to resume the sync process. Daedalus should try periodically to resume the sync, instead of simply stopping the sync altogether.
Charles, please work on getting ADA working with the Ledger Nano wallet ASAP. This is so important for anyone who has invested or thinking of investing in ADA. I know a lot of people who won't invest in any crypto asset without hardware wallet capability.
Thanks for your update, and for your professional way of doing things. I have a lot faith in you and Cardano. Let's see ADA at $5 this year :D

Charles thanks for this transparent communication. A great example how you navigate through issues and talk about challenges. i.E. Ledger integration, Exchange rollouts etc..Could you also spend some time on how you plan to get the Cardano coin out to the world with some examples of potential use cases ? I understand that you work with a solid tech community with a lot of peer reviews but I still miss your approach on how and where it will be used in the future from people / companies to make it "the" 3rd generation coin. I personally love the daedalus wallet. Never fails for me and relatively speedy once synced. Only thing i would really like to see is 2fa attached to it. 2fa should be the standard for all crypto transactions. Possibly even 3fa moving forward.

Thanks for the update, however I still don't understand what's going on. Withdrawals on Binance have been off and on apparently for weeks and no relief in sight. They now have withdrawals "suspended". The reason they give is "busy network". "1.0" Bitcoin takes 15 minutes to send to your wallet, "2.0" Ether takes 5 minutes, and "3.0" Cardano, 4 hours, if you're lucky enough to find a window of time in which they're supporting withdrawals.
Hey Charles love the regular updates. Believe in you and the cardano project. You are on the right track starting from scratch. It’s brilliant. Hats off to you and all of your team.
I tried the wallet and it took about 3 hours to sync and works fine. I like the Cardano project. Impressive work, well done.

I can't imagine that anybody thumbs-down to this great verbal roadmap. Please get on board guys and brace for impact. Not for gains moon shooting, but for sailing in the unfoldings of futuristic history.
What are game game theoretic aspects of ADA's Blockchain, for instance the core, its allocation and imputations to it, partitioned off imputations associated with a burn factor? As all Blockchain tech is just game theoretic, even the DAG in Iota, too......the mechanic's of it is game theory, the upper layer is computational, but not the rest....? Very interested to see a possible answer/address to this :)......currently hodling some Ada, have faith in the team/process!?

Charles, I haven't sent the logs as yet but I experienced the issue of not connecting and of not syncing blocks. I deleted the content from the app data folder and it resolved the issue. I'll get around to finding the logs.

I like to keep my wallets on an external HDD. Yours is currently the only one that will not open up when I do that. Tnx for the update.

No problems here, with Deadalus on Windows Server 2016.

If not possible, I leave you this question: the idea fot having exchange addresses seems very good. In the event of hot and could staking, will the payments be the same (%?), since the involvement in the Cardano network and risk are potentially equivalent but not equal?
I think this is important, in an incentive strategy perspective and also in marketing and communication initiatives.

Is there currently any wallet (at all) for Android that supports Cardano? Having no Windows PC, and being a complete beginner, I'm just wondering how I can store my ADA without trusting the exchanges. Is buying a Windows machine truly the only option? Or I could I transfer from daedalus from a public or borrowed PC to some kind of flash drive, or paper... Sorry for the newby question, but frankly I've been putting off buying ADA for a couple of months now because I simply unsure how to handle them safely.

it definitely has the potential. execution over the next several months will be critical. want to see smart contract developers getting their hands on plutus soon, although a bit worried there aren't many developers who are familiar w functional languages.
