I really enjoyed Chef Baek whipping KHD. He was right to pinpoint that KHD wasted a lot of time chatting and not being focused when he could've gotten more work done like the others who executed their tasks well without having to "perform" over the top for tv. Of course I know this is entertainment and to some extent characters are directed but I can't help reacting unfavourably to KHD's antics which after awhile felt very off putting and to hear his piercingly loud voice was unbearable. On the other hand, Lee soo-geun is always a hilarious delight to watch.
Same. I don’t really like his entertaining style. I find it way too over the top. I watch knowing bros and I often just skip the parts where he does his cute antics 😅 It does seem like that’s just his personality and I guess the Korean public like it since he’s still popular.
Aww but Hodong's main job is being a comedian so it only makes sense that he's pleased to interact with people; it's simply a role he's fulfilled for years. Soogeun is extremely admirable for being an all-around worker, but Hodong is trying + obviously struggling, but trying nonetheless to cook and serve food so this felt too harsh 😅 and I say this at the thought of my workaholic mother who's recently trying her very best to cook for us, forgetting certain things because the complexity of cooking can get her thoughts in haywire. I don't think we talk well enough about people having their own learning pace. Adjusting neatly into a role doesn't come naturally for everyone.
No one literally no one who can scolding kang ho dong. His the one and only baek jong won
