Caitlin Clark has 3,002 points as of her 4th season. Angel Reese only has 1,620 points.
True but Angel Reese is surrounded by much better players and has a ring. This ain't one on one basketball.
Great win by Iowa, but when will Coach Bluder send Gabby Marshall to the bench? She doesn't even look confident on the court. I love watching Marshall play, but she has become a liability on the court. When she shot the ball in the tournament last season she was all money. Let's put Hanna Staulke back in the starting lineup, and make Marshall earn her starting position back. I know its got to be hard to put a fifth year player on the bench, but Marshall got to play better or this team will have trouble beating Ohio State or Indiana. Sydney Alforter gives this team good minutes with her rebounding, and tough defense.
U better count Ohio State and Indiana as losses right now no way they will be able to compete with those teams let alone LSU or South Carolina
@@anthonytaylor7928 it's to early to talk about them playing LSU or SC. This team can beat Ohio State and Indiana, but they got to get other players scoring. In the third quarter Caitlin Clark scored all the points. This. Iowa State team mostly has freshman, they will be something to in next few years. Anyways, my brother I still have Iowa, beating Ohio State and Indiana next month. Hanna Staulke should be at full strength for those games.

I'm actually a huge fan of Clark but I don't like when she seems to always raise her hands at the ref thinking she was fouled.
She's a crybaby every time she's called for a foul or thinks she was fouled.

I thought ISU played it smart. Mostly guarded Caitlin with one player, knowing she’s going to get her points. ISU coach knows Caitlin very well, wanted to make the rest of the team beat them, it almost worked! But whenever they tried to trap her she, as usual, finds the open teammate. If they’re not hitting their shots, hey it happens. I believe they were on the right path in creating a blueprint on how to play Iowa. Now I’m a huge fan of the Iowa women but they aren’t evincible . On the other hand, when they all play the game, they just might be!
ISU took so many shots with no one under the basket. They gave up so many rebounds that they could have gotten. Iowa is weak in the post.
I thought they got pretty lucky that Clark missed a number of wide open shots when her defender got picked. At that point they didn't have anyone guarding her.

And the other 9 players who played struggled to score the other 32. Weak front court and still no bench. All against a 4-3 unranked Big 12 team. Iowa is certainly not a top 5 team.
Clark almost always travels on her step off, yet it's never called.

She's also the Queen of Pushoff -- and it wasn't called in this game. I counted at least 8 (with the ball, without the ball and on defense). Refs got her on a few in last year's Final 4.
It's called a gather step, Diew does the same thing at 9:33. We aren't in the 50s anymore.
Flow of the game is very important!!! Until the rest of the team is given the green light to shoot without the fear of being benched if they miss, we will continue seeing CC 31 shots and the rest of the team 32. Someone needs to remind Lisa Blunder that it’s team first. I still enjoyed seeing a victory for the Hawkeyes!!!
Anyone can see that Clark is in charge, not Bluder.
They took shots and missed a lot. Until you and others realize Caitlin Clark is the impetus for Iowa's success you will remain clueless. She dishes out many assists. She would have had more but they missed a lot of shots which also would have resulted in a bigger margin of victory.
@@michaeldwight3212 . . . clueless is believing that this Iowa team is top 5 and that this ISU game is a one-off. Athleticism is extremely lacking when you compare them to teams in the Top 25. They're living off of last year's laurels.

@KCKnowsports my point is Caitlin Clark has been doing this from her freshman season. Iowa would not be where they are without here. She does so much more than shoot. Rebounding, runs the floor, assists. Last night late she made two nice passes to Kate Martin as Kate cut to the basket for 2 very important baskets late. She specifically gave Credit to Kate for scoring those 2 baskets. That is leadership. So many complain about the amount of shots she takes but leave out her assists and rebounds and passes. Iowa is what it is because of her. I thrilled she wears an Iowa jersey. Next year Iowa will probably be good but not what it is with Caitlin. So Caitlin dies more than just fire up shots. The team depends on her and they know she is the catalyst.
6:02 thats what Clark does all the time fricken pushes off she even put an elbow out on that one if i was a coach i would be screaming to them call it !!!
