It takes two-thirds of the House and the Senate to override a veto. People don't seem to understand politics. The DEMOCRATS who voted in support of the bill did so with the FULL KNOWLEDGE that Biden would VETO the bill. Democrats feel they can have it both ways (outwardly act as if they are pro-crypto to not lose votes) and have the crypto bill defeated thorough Biden's veto (because they are anti-crypto anyway).
They already warned us that once it went to the masked man it would be Vetoed, this is all theatre, just follow the big money as always
Biden never said he wouldn’t veto the repeal of the SAB121 SEC rule. It’s the FIT21 bill we have more hope for. Thing is, it hasn’t gone through the Senate yet…
It will NOT pass the Senate. So move to plan B whatever that may be.
Bank of Canada will cut rate on 5th June. European Central Bank will cut rate on 6th June, the first time in 5 years. Not the time to be bearish.
The veto actually shows there are still grownups in the room I am 100%pro crypto but many really don’t understand what this is really all about.
Simply put how would you feel if your bank went ahead with this scenario and the btc market crashed and you couldn’t withdraw your money because the btc market tanked. If corporate entities were allowed to hold btc like cash same scenario the domino effect would be disastrous.
Hold on the books as an asset yes,audited as cash hell no. If you believe btc is not fiat you cannot have it both ways…
FIT makes sense and will be approved this was bad long term for the structure in totality, gonna get smoke for this but it’s the truth folks.
There's common sense in making it easier for people to hold crypto that aren't savvy enough to self custody.

I believe the SAB 121 bill can be challenged legally in court due to not abiding by the APA's Notice and Comment requirement for rulemaking? The bill is illegal, as it stands. Push this info ASAP
The next step is a vote that needs 2/3rds majority in order to overturn his veto.

looks to me like we will have a new normal of a higher low of inflation. Such as 3.5% for years and years. This is becasue they have so much debt now that they need to contantly print money to service that debt. Also the number are cooked. So 3.5% is at least 4%

Custody by banks might give an impulse on the short term but it is better if they stay out of the crypto economy. Absolutely better to just have your own keys on your cold wallets since you can trust nobody in general and banks and investment firms specifically.

With all the institutional money being put in BTC and the ETF the price is setting in the mid 60"s - This is a strong indication of manipulation in BTC and cryptos in general - I am afraid this is nothing more than a Trojan Horse. How will they let all these people become millionaires, just a thought. BTC cannot even stay above 70k for more than a day.................

I think the Trump verdict is why he felt comfortable pulling the flip. If Trump suffers in the polls after the hearing or if it looks like Biden will win they'll be as bad or worse than they've already been.
Imagine if they Kill CZ in that prison. It would be the ultimate tragic end given he was only sentenced to a few months.
I kind of tired of all this sending people to jail, bs. Only dangerous people belong in prison, the rest should be going to work to pay back damages and or receiving support or therapy to help them live better lives which in action helps the rest of society.
